Pipeline Canyon Trail reviews
8Nice short hike down to the water. It has a perfect beach to enjoy. The only down side is having to carry everything in, but it is doable.
Easy trail and some great views. I really want to see a new bridge to add to the hike. Folks picnic at the end right at the water. No tables or benches as an fyi. There are bathrooms at the trailhead and a map. Quiet place and plenty of shade at the water's edge.
What a beautiful trail! I remember getting lost the last time I went, but I would recommend staring instead from the trailhead in Lake Pleasant Regional Park from N. Park Road (vs the North Trailhead- which can be super confusing).
From the N. Park Road, you can't get lost because there is a clearly marked singular trail that takes you down. You get treated to a scenic view of the trees and cacti dotting the mountains and from there as you continue to walk, a sliver of water peaks through in the canyon below. The water then widens and the view steals your breath away. The water is clear and beautiful and on a cloudless day- the water is a stunning shade of blue.
The trail takes you down to the shore so you can see the water lapping and get more scenic photos. Definitely I will be coming back!:)
Nice trail with good views of lake. Unfortunately the bridge was out so made for a short walk
Great views, nice trails, glimpses of burros, good bathrooms, and places to rest by the water. Went on a Monday so parking was easy. Lots of people out hiking but not too many. Good place to come back again and explore.
Beautiful trail hike. Awesome views.
Trail is narrow and rocky in some areas. Probably not well enough for 12 and younger.
It's easy down to the bridge area. But a hike back up the hill is something to remember. Also the crossing is flooded now. So trail ends at the water.
I found a bunch of bugs flying around. It's nature. Bring bug spray. And a beach hog. One person and their unleashed dog. Dead center of the beach. No one could take a rest because of. Very disappointing behavior. Hopefully a mule came and kept them company.
People hiking the trail didn't seem to friendly. And not much room on the narrow trails to step off to let others pass.
It was a nice very day out, I'm a fan of the area, there isn't much trash around compared to other places. I appreciate being around when rangers drive through, silly as it is seeing him grab garbage and check the surrounding area makes me feel better
