Pita Jungle - Tucson Oracle

Took my mom to lunch here. The cilantro jalapeno hummus is fantastic! Everything sounded so good, my waitress helped me choose and I went with the chicken pasta salad. Ended up being the right choice. My mom chose the philly steak pita as a bowl. So much food we ate maybe 1/3 and took the rest to go. Highly recommend!

Moved to Tucson a month ago. Tried this place a couple weeks ago. Loved it! Food was amazing. Had family come from out of town, couldn’t wait to take them here. Went last night. There were three couples ahead of us just standing inside the entrance. I asked what they were waiting on. The first couple said they had been standing there over twenty minutes while employees just walked past them without seating them or greeting them. The second couple said they wanted to place a take out order and just weren’t willing to wait any longer and left. The third couple said they were picking up to go but no one was helping them. There were only four tables occupied and many employees working/walking around. All they did was gawk at the customers and never bothered to acknowledge any of us. What’s the problem? That is ridiculous! One of the seated tables told us they stood there for 35 minutes before anyone even came to the front to seat them. That is insane! You had four tables! We are very generous tippers and loyal customers when we find a good place. Thought we had. We were wrong. Walked out and won’t be back.

Food was delish! Service was also awesome was greeted right away by hostess, and server was on top of everything. I will be definitely coming back soon!

Good healthy, dietary friendly options. The food is good. The prices are very reasonable. Most of the food I would say was fusion.
I am a bit torn because the flavors are toned down for the masses but everything is good none the less.

Amazing Service, Delicious food.
The servers are so aware of gluten free options and cross contamination.
Their Falafel Sandwich and Hummus is truly authentic middle eastern.
We are visiting Tucson from Chicago for a week and out of the seven days we came 5 times! That's tells you how good is the food and the Service. Well Done!

Food was very good. We had a big party so service was a little slow. Overall pretty good first experience.

We enjoyed food here several times, but the last time has ended it. Rude service. Every item incorrect on the order. We were told we would be compensated but that too was a lie.

Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.

Stopped in on Sunday after shopping for yard pottery and absolutely loved this place, we love Pita Jungle and Paula was really nice and knowledgeable we had great food and conversation and also asked about getting a Pita Jungle closer to Casa Grande, AZ. Great service, food presentation and taste!

Pita Jungle is my go-to place for healthy and delicious light meals. There are several mixed vegetable dishes to which I add a side of grilled salmon. I always add a middle eastern starter like baba ganoush or hummus.

I don’t normally write reviews when I’m hangry, but today’s experience really made me upset. I have been extremely supportive of businesses and tend to give restaurants A LOT of leeway during Covid, and I have been especially supportive of Pita Jungle during the past year and a half, ordering to-go on average once a week. Today is Mother’s Day and so when I placed an order and was told the wait would be 45 minutes, I didn’t bat an eye and pushed my family’s dinner time out to accommodate their staffing issues. At pickup, the girl manning the register was very short and snippy, letting me know they were extremely busy and seeming annoyed when I asked where I should pick up my to-go order. When she finally was able to ring me up and get my food, which totaled over $100 she seemed annoyed my my simple request to get extra dressing for the 4 salads I ordered. I tipped her ANYWAY. I got home and realized I was missing half of my order. When I called to ask about it, I was told they were sure I picked up multiple bags (I received one, and a pizza box). I asked the woman I spoke to to check their video so she could see I was NOT lying. I will not patronize this place again. Their food is not good enough to be treated like a criminal for trying to get food I paid for. Happy Mother’s Day to me!

Food is good. They have a vegan menu. Second time we were there we waited over an hour for our food. Almost didn't go back a 3rd time.

The place doesn't really get the traffic it deserves but it's a wonderful quiet lunch spot with attentive waitstaff.

Absolutely my new fav. I found this place kind of by accident and I love everything I have ordered. I have always taken my food to go due to the pandemic but it is flavorful, fresh, nourishing and delicious. I crave it multiple times a week. I have placed most of my orders online for curbside pickup but today I called and went in to pick it up. The place smells so good and the service was fast and friendly.

This place reminds me of Zankou's Chicken in L. A. I love their food and their Guava lemonade is delicious.
