Pita Jungle - Arcadia reviews
17DO NOT EAT HERE! I worked here for like a week and thats all i could take they have black mold in their dish pit the sinks are NEVER CLEAN they do NOT double rinse their silverware! DO NOT DRINK THE TEA! THEY DO NOT CLEAN THE CONTAINERS THEY REST IN! I LITERALLY GOT YELLED AT FOR SCRUBBING IT! MOLD COVERED ON THE INSIDE! Only place i have worked that did that. The manger is a two faced liar and all of the cooks there are drunks if you want pita jungle that bad go to the on 7th clean kitchens and not a horrible person for a manger
Lacey was a fantastic server! She made recommendations for my meal and made it 10x better! I got the coconut curry soup in a bowl with added rice, tofu and broccoli! Absolutely delicious! Best meal I’ve had in a while! Excellent service and great tasting food!
Very cozy place great service and the food it's really tasty and delicious I love their hummus and gyros.
The babagnous is tasty with fresh vegetables and pita. All the members of our party remarked on the affordable, flavorful food.
Love this place! Super easy and heathy take out spot. Surprisingly, one of my favorite entrees is the Chicken Tikka Masala. It's a much healthier/lighter option than a true Tikka, but still very tasty and perfectly paired with some warm pita.
Service, food, ambience all good!
And actually service was beyond good It was notably exceptional! Considerate and attentive!
Whenever I come back from Sky Harbor Airport, I stop off for a Pita Jungle bite. Always tasty and fresh. Nice ambience, nice staff, I like it there. I usually have a falafel something or the grilled veggie lavosh, which I had today. That lavosh is so good that it could be filled with dirt and it would still be delish. For consistently good, fresh Mediterranean fare, Pita Jungle won't let you down!
Ordered chicken lavash pizza, onions were raw barely any chicken/cheese on top and crust was undercooked, most of the items on the menu I have ordered prior we’re good, not this time!
I loved coming here. The food was soooo good and so filling!
They have vegan and gluten free menus, which I very much appreciated! I loved coming with my mom and a friends of hers, we all got to try some new foods. I definitely will be back next time I’m in town!
Friendly staff. Food is really good. I like the Kefta burgers, lavosh wraps, salads, and hummus trio.
Craving a pita, wrap, or bowl made with healthy ingredients? Then head over to Pita Jungle and take a look at their extensive menu. My favorite is the Mediterranean Roasted Chicken Shawarma with grilled chicken breast, garlic sauce, tahini, mixed greens, tomatoes, red onions, and pickles. I like my chicken shawarma served in a pita. You can also have it served in a bowl with brown rice and cabbage-kale greens. So delicious!
Loud but good food and service. Starters are big enough for a meal. Next visit: had nice mahi mahi dish. Didn't notice volume this time, and great service again.
Tasty, fresh, and the staff is terrific! So far there hasn't been anything we haven't liked except for the cilantro hummus. It came automatically as part of a hummus duo, so if you, too, are a supertaster, be sure to request a different flavor. If you love cilantro, you'll be very happy.
The gluten-free brownie with ice cream was excellent for dessert.
The food is great. We had appetizer of eggplant, I had falafel pita and son had lavosh pita. We also had chocolate covered baklava for dessert.
Enjoy this location this was the 1st place we ate in Phoenix in 2009 just happened to drive by we eat 1-2 times a month at Pita jungle this location smaller and fun.
When we walked in the restaurant was not busy at all and several waitresses where standing chatting, we got a table and pretty quickly our waitress got our drink orders. This is where the experience got a little bumpy, when she returned with our drinks I had to stop her from abruptly leaving to put in our appetizer order. We knew what we wanted for an entree as well but she left our table before we could tell her. Our appetizer came quickly thanks to the kitchen and a food runner and we waited patiently for our waitress to return (our menus were closed and off to the side). She never returned to our table. We watched her chatting with other employees, check on one table and we even made eye contact a few times and still nothing. By the time she returned to our table we had finished our appetizer and drinks and decided to just get the check and go elsewhere.
