Pita Jungle - Mesa reviews
17I visited this establishment for the first time, and I will be back tomorrow, the next day and the next day. Athena was my server, and she was kind, knowledgeable, and efficient. There was a slight mixup with my order, but it was NO big deal. Athena apologized, two male workers came out and apologized, and Tina, the manager, came and apologized. It was about a three minute inconvenience, but the way they handled it was incredible. The food was amazing, but I will be back for the customer service, which was the absolute best. Don’t even wonder if you should come here, just get in your car and come on!
No soap in ladies room, had 3 empty dispensers. Not the real problem. Real issue was the gyro meat, never had meat served that so dry and tough that it was unbeatable, been eating at Pita Jungle since the 90"s never gotten anything like this ever.
Our waitress was juggling 6 tables or more at lunch time and she was so friendly, patient & attentive. Lunch was delicious. Greeters were so welcoming. I'll be back! Thank you
So Saturday night, approx. 5 p.m. Me and my wife decide to go to Pita Jungle for dinner. We haven't been to this location in awhile because we know sometimes it gets very busy and seating isn't great. I went inside, to see what the availability of seats were while my wife waited in the car. I noticed many avaiable seats and two booth spots were open. I asked the lady up front if me and my wife could sit in one of the avaiable booths. She flat out told me NO. I asked her why and she said those seats were for larger people so she wanted to save them. She offered me another place to sit and I told her no I'll just leave. I went to the car to tell my wife what had just happened. I was very upset and decided to go back inside to ask for the manager. I was immediately confronted with the same lady and when I asked to speak to the manager she said you are speaking to her. I then asked her for the regional managers number and explained to her that I would be calling him asap. She told me bluntly go ahead. I asked her why she couldn't seat us in one of the avaiable booths and pointed out to her another couple that was seated in one of the booths and did not seem very large. She tried to change her story and replied that if you want a booth you need to call to make a reservation. I asked her if the other couple made a reservation and she told me no but she wasn't the one who seated them. She gave me a hand written note with the phone number to a person named Fabian. I called it but only received a quick message to leave a vocie mail. I actually called the pita jungle office and briefly left a vocie mail there. I was so upset that I forgot to ask for the person who stated she was the manager there. I truly felt I was being discriminated against and will let other friends and family, espcially those of who are minorities, know of my horrible experience. Again a very upsetting experience. I guess it's good to know this establishment does not want my business.
Food is consistent. Last order was not sealed properly ruined $50 worth of other food. Infuriating, not the first time this has happened…
Ordered thru door dash, they did not provide the correct hummus choice and the gyro had pieces of meat burnt black and had way more pickles than meat.
I thoroughly enjoy Pita Jungles food happy hour. Great selection, great food. Awesome atmosphere with an amazing staff.
They had to remake my lavash because it looks like someone stepped on it, but they tried to give it to me anyways. Watched staff remake my lavash. The staff wearing gloves while cleaning kitchen, then grabs my veggie lavish with same gloves. So disgusting. Paid $23.00+tip for my to-go dinner and im not eating
Good food. Reasonably priced. Only gripe was that my pita wrap fell apart as soon as I touched it and had to eat it with a fork and spoon.
Love Pita Jungle but this place is no good. Several times now if you order anything from the grill it covered in black goo from cooks not cleaning the grill. It's gross, tastes bad and lazy of them. No more. Bye.
The service was excellent, hands down. However, the food was a little under seasoned. And there was a problem with my sister's Sierra mist, but they took it off the bill for us no problem.
Customer service was great, food was on point and because I am high risk for COVID I appreciated their patio tables were spread out and we could eat while safely distanced.
My husband and I ordered the Falafel Bowl and Gyro bowl. Both meals were very disappointing and gross. My falafel was soggy, our rice was very bland and soggy and the salad came with no dressing. We will not be eating here again.
Pleasantly surprised, my daughter wanted to eat here and I was reluctant but I'm glad I did. The pizza was very good, and the service was great.
My order was ready within minutes. I was surprised to get there and my food was already waiting for me. The service was amazing. Fast friendly and always on point. Thanks again pita Jungle.
Love this cute lil place! One of my go-to Greek restaurants when I lived in Arizona! I would always get a Greek salad with chicken. 10/10 recommend if you like Greek/Mediterranean food! Just a lil pricey.
Huge portions! Super-fresh veggies, lots of options. No matter what sort of dietary restrictions you may have, Pita Jungle will have something tasty for you.
