Pivot Cycles reviews
10 I have a Mach 6 (I bought used), and got a Phoenix 29 new. Great bikes, but one of the worse bike company with warranty.
Even the people that work with Pivot, will say the same.
So if you wanna a lot stress and spend more money (more that you already spent in a new bike) if something happens, buy a Pivot
Otherwise buy a Santa Cruz or Ninner.
This is where, what is arguably, the best mountain bike in the world is assembled. The people here are very friendly and always willing to talk about their bikes and mountain biking in general.
I had a little trouble with the Pivot website making a web order last week. I was about to head there again to see if I could complete the order when I got an email from Pivot. They were very professional and responsive. Not sure what happened with the person who called them "unprofessional and rude" but my experience was excellent. Their customer service was right up there with the amazing bikes!
Just took a switchblade 27.5+ on a demo in Auburn, CA and let me just say it was one of the best experiences I've had on a bike. Tanner and Landon hooked it up! Not only did they talk me through some of the technical specs on the switchblade I was riding but they also helped me dial in my current bike to be better suited to my local trails. Wish I could give six stars you guys are awesome!
I've owned and ridden many Pivot products (including Titus before Pivot existed). Currently I own a Mach 429 SL and a Vault. I can't imagine a better bike manufacturer than Pivot, love their bikes. Pivot makes a bike for your genre of riding, regardless of what flavor that comes in, and it's on the leading edge of performance while still maintaining durability and good looks. If you happen to ride South Mountain Park in Phoenix, AZ how are you riding anything else? Thanks Pivot!
Many thanks to Luke at Pivot Cycles who went the extra mile finding the bikes for my girlfriend to try. We did enjoy our visit there and amazing bikes too
When I test rode the Mach 4 at a demo day 2.5 years ago, I fell in love. At only 5'4" the XS frame was perfect for me - I don't feel stretched out. It's like the bike is made to fit me.
I have put a lot of miles on this bike so far. While doing some maintenance 3 weeks before heading to mountain bike in Nepal, I found a crack in the frame. It was covered under warranty and they got the replacement back to me ASAP and in time to put back together and get in a ride or two before my trip.
After many years of riding Santa Cruz, I'm totally converted to a Pivot girl now. Awesome fun to ride these bikes.
I own a 2018 aluminum Mach 6 and I Love it! I am in the market for an upgraded Pivot, so I decided to attend the Sedona bike days on March 3rd, 2018 to sample the carbon Pivot. My experience was notorious and the Sales Reps were so unprofessional and rude. They would not even talk to me or my son and we are both in the market for new bikes. I really do love my Pivot bike and I am so disappointed in the way we were treated. I had to write a review because I always recommend this product to other riders and this has totally changed my outlook from here on out. I will find a company that will give me the time of day and take my money. Thanks to your Reps they destroyed my commitment to Pivot.
Had a horrible experience trying to find a pivot bike in the valley (where the company's headquartered) to rent/demo before buying. Their website listing of dealerships with demo bikes available is worthless. Every shop the website said had bikes didn't and then when calling the company the AZ sales rep asked if I tried calling a company that was listed as a dealer and not a dealer with demos. I was hoping to support a hometown company with my next bike purchase but not anymore!
