Platella Jewelers is a little gem tucked in Kierland Commons. If you are looking for a unique, custom piece of jewelry, make sure to put it on your list. Ten years ago, I purchased a silver collar necklace and cuff bracelet. Due to careless packing for a plane trip, they needed reshaping. I brought them in last week and Hugo repaired and cleaned them much to my delight. His creations are timeless and they are my go to pieces. Platella Jewelers is a must stop when you visit Kierland.

He’s a master creator of beautiful unique designs. He takes time to get to know his clients having the ability to read preferences as well as desires. We are so fortunate our Longtime friends introduced us to Hugo. We walked into Platella with absolutely no intention to purchase anything as it was only a few days after Christmas. Viewing the many unique gorgeous designs we were drawn to a particularly unique diamond necklace. Once it was on my neck my husband loved it as much as I and it wasn’t coming off! When we asked about earrings he said he could design some that would compliment the necklace. WOW WOW & WOW…. He did not disappoint! They are spectacular…. Much more than I was expecting. He suited them to my personality perfectly. On the way to meet with Hugo my husband and I discussed the fact that I wished I had asked him to make them longer than we talked about. Guess what …they were! Huge amazing surprise at no additional cost. He obviously pays attention to every little detail no matter how small with a very unique ability to notice what your likes and style desires are. Needless to say I LOVED them the moment he opened the box! He’s very precise right down to putting the earrings in my ears himself making any hanging adjustments. We’ve made many purchases throughout the years…. We’ve honestly never met anyone who personally takes care of clients like Hugo does. It doesn’t matter how large or small your budget is …. He makes you feel like you are his only client while he’s with you. Do yourself a favor stop in Platella look at the beautiful creations on display and meet Hugo.

Hugo at Platella Jewelers is amazing. Me and my now wife went there to have him create our rings from my grandmothers ring which was given to me for our wedding. I was blown away with the quality of work and the creative thinking by Hugo. It was such a joy to work with him and create the engagement ring and wedding band. On top of that he melted down the ring to create my wedding band as well. So from the one ring he created all three of our rings for our wedding. Platella is by far my favorite place to buy jewelry in the valley. Hugo’s work is always gorgeous. It is unique but classic enough to always stay relevant. I started shopping there about 6 or 7 years ago and the first pieces I bought there look as beautiful as when I got them. When it came time to get an engagement ring I was so disappointed by the big name stores in the area. We wound up at Platella and Hugo designed the most incredible ring that was exactly what I wanted and later bands to go with it. Between the pandemic and parenting I hadn’t shopped there for about 2 years. I recently went back and everything is as beautiful as always. Not to mention, despite not seeing me for at least two years Hugo recognized me immediately, remembered my name, my husband’s name, and even my father’s name (he had been in years ago).
