The albondigas where more like nalgas. The food is probably good best thing i ate was the french fries though. Not the best mexican food i dont u derstanf the hype.:/

The food was very good. Customer service was also good. The only thing is that you either eat outside or take it with you because their lobby is closed (under construction) literally, but other than that I will be coming back once the inside is back open (9/ 22/ 21)

Don't know what to say. You just gotta eat here and you'll understand! They're chips and salsa, AMAZING!

Love this restaurant but they are currently closed for renovations. Only takeout window is open. I came from Mississippi this weekend and can't eat inside it really sucks.

Really sad, I was born and raised in south phx, been going here for over forty years, first time ever it was pure trash, tacos were burnt meat burnt to a crisp, same w the taquitos, salsa is different not good at all, don't know what happened but it's sad and sucks more

Delicious red chili with meat burro combo. Good food could use more steam on the aluminum foil tortillas so they would be more soft not dry. Yumm

After all these years, still one of the best Mexican restaurants in Arizona. I have been to a couple of hundred around the state and this is still in my top five. You must try this food and the great service at this wonderful location. Keep up the good work and keep smiling!

Was going here for about 20 years. Never the same cooks, so the food is always a little different, either overcooked or barely anything in the burritos. Shredded beef was my favorite, and before it would taste great and would be nice and tender, now its way to chewy like they needed to let it cook a little longer before shredding. Shannon keeps that place together. Food is always better when she cooks, When she is there and the order is messed up she will make it right

The walk up window is convenient if you don't have a car. Even after all these years the service and food is always amazing! Me and my family have Ponchos as one of the top few favorite picks when we are deciding what to eat when we've had a busy day and don't feel like cooking.

We finally stopped by this place to try it after passing it on and off for months and seeing the long lines. I got a green chili burrito and my boyfriend got a chimichanga. My burrito was super flavorful and I enjoyed the green chili sauce as well. It wasn’t super spicy and I liked the onions etc.that were in it. That said I really think it could have used a double or thicker tortilla because it was a big mess trying to eat it with the tortilla falling apart. I’m glad I had the sauce on the side otherwise I can’t imagine what it would have looked like I also feel that the green chili burrito was VERY similar to Someburros (which I also like).

His chimichanga was good as well. It had spicy guacamole which was unexpected but it was good. I was surprised to see that the chicken *appeared* to be white meat since I know that’s not always the case. It was a little dry but the sour cream and guacamole helped with that! We didn’t receive any green sauce but the red one they offer had a really good flavor without being overly spicy. The prices were affordable and we had our order in about ten minutes. I’m sure we’ll be back.

I love this rode side spot. The construction on the street places it right in ur face. U have 2 pass right by it.

The food was very nice. A guy in line recommend the dish w/ red sauce. We didn't get it but he lit up about the dish.

It’s been awhile since here but decided to take a chance tonight. Customer service is lacking. The food was tasteless. I’m extremely disappointed.

I haven’t been here in awhile and I’m never going again. I spent 60 and everything was horrid! Unreal unreal unreal family was verrrrrry unhappy! Ordered take out and I live in Scottsdale. What a waste! Smfh

I will never go to Phoenix (I am from Atlanta, GA) and not eat here. There is something about the "mexican pizza" that is just so dang good! I seriously think I sometimes plan vacations here just to get this meal. The margaritas are very tasty too!
