Pottery Blow Out reviews
20Pretty good selection. Prices are about the same as other pottery places. Employees are not very friendly.
Beautiful talavera and glazed pots! Pricey, I came from California thinking it was cheaper here either way so many bright colors and combination glazed color pottery.
Huge assortment. Great prices on larger pots. Smaller pots are just a bit more expensive than the big box home improvement stores.
It's very well stocked with beautiful pots and decorative metal plants. The agave plants were a bit pricey ($27 for the small ones all the way to $250 for the largest) but they are very pretty.
Got what we were looking for. Disappointed, though, by how much of their stock is made in China-despite being only an hour from Mexico, and close to several Native American sources. Would like to see more items made locally or at least by our neighbors, and less from Asian sources.
Quality products, priced fairly, fantastic customer service. As a Contractor I send my customers here because I know they will be taken care of.
Had the best experience today! We went to look at chimineas and found the most beautiful one I've ever seen. We also bought several other pieces of pottery, and the prices were very fair. Frank, the owner, was so helpful and kind - we will absolutely be coming back!
Every time I visit Pottery Blow out I am amazed at the selection. I always find just the right piece. I own many planters from here and have lasted me years!
Pottery Blow Out has the best selection of pottery in Tucson. If I am looking for a particular size for indoors or outside, they are the first place to look. A lot of options to choose from in glazes, styles and forms.
The best selection in Tucson. They have everything you need when it comes to pots. This place is much better than Home Depot or any big chain.
Excellent source for all types of pottery. Thousands of pots from raw unglazed earthenware to fancy glazed one of a kind designs. Also as a bonus they have seconds and defective items that if placed correctly will make the 50% to 70% discount well worth the purchase. Customer service was outstanding. Wasn't sure whether everything I bought would fit into my car - but Frank & Jeremy made it all go in and even cushioned in-between pots with card board and foam padding.
When we moved into our new home we bought several pots for our backyard and they looked amazing! That was over ten years ago and they’re still in great condition. The service is amazing and the work put into these pots are easily noticed! I love the great selection and variety!
Excellent selection, well organized, and clean. Great pots, prices the same as Home Depot and other stores around town. But the man who "helped" me was disinterested and snarky. I was not buying a cheap pot, but a $180 one. I asked about sealing it and he sniped at me like I was stupid, even when I said I know nothing about it. The first one he got down for me ended up having a chip on the side. For $180 I didn't want that one. I said so-nicely- but he just said nothing, put it back up on the rack, turned around and went back inside. There was an identical one on the other side of the stack and I was ready to look at that one, but I didn't feel like chasing him inside and begging to spend $180 in the store. When I asked him if that was it, he got snarky again and said he left because someone came in the store. Well, did he ever hear of saying, "Excuse me, I'll be right back, someone just came in. " Then he proceeded to tell me to get the hell out with my attitude. Nice! The BEST thing is that I stopped at La Sandia Pottery just down Grant and they are so sweet and helpful and KIND, I ended up ordering a $280 Talavera pot. So glad I didn't waste my money with a nasty business! [EDIT: 2/28/18 The owner has reached out and made good on an unpleasant experience. If Frank is there, you will have a lovely experience! I amended my rating from one star to four; really great selection and let's hope a great experience moving forward! ]
Excellent selection of beautiful pottery at great prices - especially sale items. And the staff was wonderful - Jeremy was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and kind.
They put out misleading advertising. When I asked about it the sales person was the rudest I've ever experienced. I couldn't believe that someone would speak to a customer like that.
Great selection of pottery at prices that beat big box stores. Usually made in Asiatic countries then imported to a German company, finally stopping in Tucson.
Fun deals on broken pots in unique shapes.
Nice selection, especially large pats. High fired, good quality. As low on price as I have found elsewhere. Friendly staff. Not as good a selection of "regular" clay pots - most are decorative in some way.
I love this store! It's clean, beautiful and easy to navigate. The pots are the best I've ever had. I have 4 that look just as good as the day I bought them 10 years ago! Recently (Aug 2015) I met the manager of the store and was treated with respect and given lots of help. I was acknowledged as soon as I entered the door. Labor day they had a 2 for 1 sale! Love this place!
I cannot say enough positive things about Pottery Blow Out! I've shopped there for my personal pots and many, many times for my customers. The pottery selection is just mind blowing. They claim to always have over 10,000 planters in stock. The customer service is also worth mentioning. The whole staff is knowledgable on everything pottery related and always willing to go above and beyond to sure you get exactly what you need! Totally recommend this pottery store, I will be using them for years.
Large selection of pottery. Mostly large pots for trees and big plants. Variety of colors. The ones I looked at were made in China.
