The people at this location are the absolute best. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my jewelry or pawn. Highly recommend stopping in if you're needing to sell or pawn.

I went into the PMR on Tanque Vedie in Tucson, had a. 72 ct diamond in the center which had 6 Emeralds around it, 14 kt gold, Total weight was 13.9 grams, the two women who were working, one was about 20 years old with very little experience, the other stated to me she was a certified gemologist, after looking at the stones and all the little lights they used, she said it was bad quality and offered 80$, i said no went to Ambassador Jewelry on Speedway and Columbus in Tucson got 650$ for the ring, lesson learned PMR Tucson tried to get me, if you want honesty go to Ambassador Jewelry on Speedway and Columbus in Tucson Arizona they give the best deal,

These people are very professional, yet at the same time like a friend you've had for life. My point is, I was made to feel very comfortable and at ease during the interaction at the store. They are very knowledgeable and had the most up to date tools to work with. All in all a great visit and would recommend to anyone needing help with there jewelry and valuables.

I volunteer as a 'jeweler' sorting all donated Costume & Fine Jewelry to a Christian Charity. I'm an expert in Costume Jewelry, not so much with Fine Jewelry. So.one day a customer donated a plastic grocery bag with mixed jewelry. The very last piece in the bag was a CARTIER 18KT WHITE GOLD RING. It was just too good to be true even though all the expected markings and numbers were there. I took a magnet to it at home and realized my doubt may just be right-on as the ring was magnetic. I went to PMR and was greeted by Mary C.as she opened the door for me. She was most courteous and kind, even asking me if I wanted a glass of water. She studied the ring and then took a professional metal detector to it. It read out Iron, Nickle, plus, obviously not a gold ring, let alone a Cartier. I thanked Mary for her time and help, knowing I would be back when I had another, questionable piece. PMR is professional, courteous and extremely helpful.

The store on Tanque Verde is great! Mary trays you like a friend. They have fair market prices. They always give you the right price on selling your items. If you need to sell or buy, this is the place to go.

Seller beware! I'm 67 year old grandmother and went to Precious Metals Refinery based on their advertising with a large lot of costume and precious jewelry. After more than 3 hours, Doug offered me a certain amount of money and had me to sign a completely fabricated pawn slip. He said he’d be there past closing if he had to record everything that I had actually sold him. I signed and left but felt uneasy about the long and arduous transaction. The following day I emailed PMR to let Doug know that he had never let me see the jewelry weights nor informed me of the day’s price of silver and gold. He said he didn’t know how that had happened and gave me some figures that could have been true or not. He also told me that Robert didn’t really want my (2) 1 carat champagne diamonds because they weren’t worth the $125.00 he paid me for them. I offered to take them back and Doug said he would make arrangements for me to receive the $400.00+ shortfall and my diamonds back. After many unanswered calls Doug’s boss Robert finally told me that Doug only worked there couldn’t make said arrangements and that there was nothing he, himself, could do for 21 days. Nevertheless, after many rude calls and 21 days later I was told that my items were gone and there was a check for less that the figures indicated. I contacted the AG’s office and, after a couple of offers I didn’t care for, PMR’s final offer is to sue me so I am changing my review to just my experience.

Mary at the East office took extraordinary care in determining the value of the jewelry I brought in, much of it inherited and quite old, I felt confident that she evaluated my items fairly and she took time to explain the various steps in the proces. It was a pleasure to work with her.
