Predators Reptile Center, Mesa AZ

I've emailed them and never got a response, and I feel this is only the best way to get the message across. I bought a snake there about a month ago and was told it was a female. For one, it was not a female and two it has parasites. I am right now at the vet getting a checkup that will end up costing me about $300 at minimum and $500 at maximum, not even sure. I am really disappointed and angry about this whole situation and would truly never ever recommend getting snakes from Predators Their health is okay at the best. Just please try to one, teach your staff better and two, respond to emails instead of just ignoring them. I hope in the future they do better or at least try to resolve problems instead of just ignoring them.

I spend a lot of money here and it’s honestly my favorite reptile shop in AZ. The only downfall being that I did get a leopard gecko here about 10 weeks ago and it died. The vet said it had a parasite called cryptosporidiosis or “stick tail” and most likely had it when I bought it. I do have other Leos (in separate cages) that I have bought here that are doing great, just this one very unfortunate instance.

Me and my wife went in last year for a western hognose. The staff seemed downright clueless, and couldn't even sex the snake so we left.

Fast forward to yesterday. We decided to give Chris another chance and this visit was better. The guy who helped us was all smiles, polite, and knew what he was doing. We left with a great albino corn snake my wife loves. The price was a weeee bit high, but the service and quality animal makes up for it.

My issue with my first visit technically never got resolved, but hey stuff happens. This store is pretty cool. Check out their snakes.

This store is amazing they always have good looking animals and yes the prices are sometimes a little high but the care for them is as well so just think about it as your paying lets say 15% more but this animals going to cost 50% to 100% less now because you dont have to nurse it back or buy a new one. This store is the kinda store id say if your animal dies its your fault since ive never seen a bad animal available for you to see and one of the coolest things with them to is there feeders are clean and they have a variety outside of crickets and mealworms. The other good thing here is that all the workers are nice and friendly plus theyre young and they know what theyre doing. All around i love this place and make big long trips to see it since its like a trip to the zoo except i can buy these animals and my animals there food.

You can tell that the employees really love what they do. Great service and a great selection of reptiles, equipment and feeders!

I love this place, although i haven't bought anything from them yet they've been really helpful on the phone to help me choose what snake i want and basic facts and information for keeping a snake!

Smells inside, but that's what you can expect from a reptile store. Good selection, all lizards and snakes are close to $50 and above.

A must see reptile store. My boyfriend's favorite shop with the nicest employees. A nice variety of lizards, snakes, tortoises, frogs, ect.

I love getting my Bearded Dragons their Dubai Roaches from here. The employees are very helpful!

I like this place. I always get my crickets from here. They always have some really cool reptiles to see also. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. It does get busy sometimes.

Reptiles look healthy and great variety. But the prices are RIDICULOUS. 300 dollars for a mali uromastic? Are you.kidding me at most should be 150 bucks AT MOST!

We've been going here for almost two years. The staff are kind and knowledgeable. It can get very busy at times, but that is a good thing for business. My kids enjoy checking out the various reptiles when we go to buy feeders for our bearded dragon (which we also purchased from them.)

The staff there is cool as hell and they help out with everything that you need to know about your pet. If something is wrong with your pet they will help you out. I will go to them anytime. I am getting another from them for my other half so he has one also.

Hey just wanna say Thanks to the whole staff but truly a Thank You to the owner for the years of help and also to Morgan for always being helpful and making it a great time when I stop by for supplies. Take the time to get to know everyone and they will do everything to give you the best and treate you like family.

We have gotten not only supplies here but we have gotten a Savannah Monitor, Bearded Dragon and a Chameleon as well. Always friendly but never looking over your shoulder. If you have a question or want to see an animal they are more than happy to help! We have bought tons of crickets and worms here for our 'scale babies' and have had zero problems. Recommended highly!

Love this place. I bought a leopard gecko from them two weeks ago who got sick, and they let me return him (without a receipt!) with no problem. They were very apologetic and respectful. My new gecko (also from them) is now very healthy and loves to eat. Great people!
