I ordered my favorite dish, biscuits and gravy. The gravy was delicious but the biscuits were very doughy and not flaky at all. The seasonings in the biscuits were great, but the texture and under-doneness ruined it.

This is an absolutely adorable restaurant with a great atmosphere! Perfect for morning mimosas with the girls or a quiet breakfast with a loved one. Initially the portions looked small but after eating the food was quite filling. I highly recommend the sweet potato breakfast hash, the tastes were paired together with great care and purpose-very enjoyable! Prices were reasonable too, what a great way to enjoy an upscale meal experience without breaking the bank. We will definitely be returning in the future!

1st. Prep and Pastry was my favorite place for years. But as popularity grows, often quality declines. I would love Prep and pastry to have the workers clean tables, menus and seats more thoroughly. Also I understand how places are pet friendly but I wish they had designated areas as I personally don't want dog hair near my food. My food was delicious but it was brought out cold. I didn't make a comment, because I was taking most of it home to eat the next morning.

This place has wonderful food and service. My only issues are how noisy it can get, and the issue about coffee. Get an espresso machine, already! Your weak cold brew just doesn't cut it!

I had this place on my list for a while, and we finally went. The service was great, very nice and friendly. Right before we finished the servers switched shifts and they came over to let us know. Super great. The biscuits and gravy were not our style, it was a very dense biscuit and as well as a dense and very garlicky gravy. The nitro coffee cold brew was great but the snowcapped cocktail was very very sweet.

Finally come to this populate restaurant! You don’t want to miss it when coming to Tucson or Scottsdale. Plenty of seat when I come on weekdays, high ceiling and modern industry style making it stand out among Mexico restaurants. Plenty of fresh, healthy and special choice of dishes and drinks. I opened my eyes even though I have been to many good places in NY.

We had chickpea scramble and cast iron duck. They are really good! I really love their potato, crispy skin but soft inside. The duck meat is not dry at all. Chickpea ‘pancake’ a bit dry, with special spice and eat together with juicy fresh tomatoes, worthy to try!

My husband and I stopped for breakfast at Prep&Pastry before our long drive back to Vegas. Upon stepping into the building, you are transported. We were greeted and sat immediately. The restaurant is filtered with so much natural light, and greenery, you can’t help but feel rejuvenated. They have an open kitchen, and what appears to be a small, but very efficient staff. I ordered the cast iron duck confit, which I’ve got to say, was the first time I’ve had duck served in this style, and was quite impressed. The portion was huge, but didn’t leave me feeling bogged down or heavy. I savored every bite! My husband ordered the biscuits and gravy, and opted for the fried chicken. We are both from the south, and this was a huge reminder of home. The pricing was extremely reasonable and they offer a huge selection of daily pastries and coffees to-go. We wish we lived closer, because this restaurant truly is a gem!

Second time ordering the cheddar biscuits and duck gravy. First time was at another location. The quality wasn’t AS good as I had the first time but I’m thinking it could have just been because I did to-go this time instead of dine-in. But the food was ready very quick which was nice!

Great service. Food was delicious. Coffee was cold each time served. Server brought hot coffee when asked.

Unless you like bland foods, then don’t go here! I ordered the biscuits & gravy…unsalted & no seasoning this with fried chicken…same same. The menu’s is complicated with + additional charges with every single item. My wife ordered the French toast w/ berries…all good with the exception of the additional “rosemary” type of herbs sprinkled around it? We received the bills with an additional automatic 22% tipping charge! What? Watch out for this if you go! What a disappointment other than a nice ambient! A bit confusing of what this place is going for with all over the place menu. Good luck with the parking as well!

First time to Prep

You're greeted when you walk in and seated. The menu looks eclectic. Lots of healthy choices available.

The French toast looked great, as did the simple breakfast. I was meeting friends, so had eaten by the time we met up. All I had was their medium blend coffee, which was very good

I look forward to actually eating here - the food and menu look yummy. Friendly and helpful staff too.

First off… when was the last time you’ve been to ANY restaurant/cafe to see someone washing the walls down with removing plants from the shelves and looking really clean.
The breakfast menu is a bit limited and very unique. I felt the food was mediocre. The service was impeccable. Atmosphere was noisy with loud music. But some people may like it.
Hubby used the restroom and also very nice and clean. I’d try it out.

I came here after working out to have a nice brunch. When I got here the place was packed to the server ask me if I wanted sit down at the bar and I said "yes"
She told me to wait, she was going to clean up the various area really quick. Then I was waiting, people jump in the bar and let them sit, instead to let them know there are other people waiting. So I decided to leave instead. Going somewhere else to have Brunch

I put in an order on door dash for the cronuts and brioche donuts and was given 4 large scones. They didn’t return my money either. To say the least I was pretty disappointed.

Prices and noise way up but service down. We had to chase them down to order and to pay our bill when they were not busy

Best breakfast and lunch selections, they’re fresh, and eclectic. Service was all done with a smile and genuine friendliness. Our bill was lost and they gave us our meal for free. Very good experience and food will be on our favorites list! Good job!

Really really LOUD, very expensive, they do not have tap pay.

I did not expect to have a simple pastry and basic coffee be almost $20.

Overpriced, loud, and scrunched seating.

Been to Prep & Pastry plenty of times, they're always good. The food is always outstanding, along with the service, and the overall vibe is awesome. They are pretty much our "go to" for breakfast before we do our running around.
