I’ve been having horrible tooth pain for about two years, and was referred to this practice by Chino Valley Family Dental. The entire staff is very friendly and the doctor and assistants I saw made sure I was comfortable the entire time through the procedure. Would absolutely recommend!

kindness was appreciated. Dr. Smith was compassionate and all of his excellent work was painless. His assistant was very attentive.

It was Thanksgiving week 2023. I had pain that was radiating out from the "hot" tooth to both upper and lower gums, my ear, and even giving me a slight headache. With a short work week, I didn't want to wait because I knew the pain would get worse.

Went to my dentist with pain at 11 am on Monday. Got an appointment at 2: 15 pm the same day. The people at the front desk were great. I received a phone call about two hours before telling me how much the procedure would cost with my insurance.

Kayleigh came and got me about 2: 10 for imaging. Dr. Van Ness did the root canal. I was probably in the chair for 1 1/2 hours. He was professional with a good sense of humor that gave me confidence in his abilities. He put in the filling as well.
After that the pain subsided greatly and by the next day was gone.

Kayleigh called the next day to see if I was doing alright.
I was told several times if I had any problems, to call them.

Excellent and considerate care. Dr. Smith and Vicki were kind, friendly, extremely professional and did a great job of my root canal procedure. The doctor not only explained throughout the procedure what he was doing (and why) and constantly asked about my comfort (zero pain, thankfully!). Vicki (assistant) was kind, friendly and made sure I was comfortable and was very patient as we talked about post-procedure (I made her repeat some of it to make sure I understood!). Would happily recommend them although I'm hoping to not visit them very often for obvious reasons!

A great staff that made my visit easy to schedule and as painless as such a thing can be. I appreciate their support and attention.

Today after my dentist removed an old crown due to a dark spot under it, he decided the issues required a root canal. He explained the issue and treatment needed, got in contact with Prescott Endodontic Associates. They were able to get me in right away, close by my dentist’s office. Dr. Smith and Staff were very helpful, empathetic (not a fun time, but not bad either). He did an excellent job and I feel confident it was done well.

This was my first root canal. I was ready for anything considering the reputation of root canals being the worst pain a person could experience. I must say that I was very surprised as to the lack of pain or even discomfort. Dr. Van Ness is more than professional in his ability, he is thorough and caring. His assistant was just as incredible, I know she was paying just as much attention to me and my well-being as she was in assisting Dr. Van Ness. If that is not enough, the entire staff was devoted to my complete care, not just performing a procedure. Even the billing clericals exhibit the highest professionalism, letting me know all the financials well ahead of the procedure. When I requested a cancellation so I could obtain a second opinion they graciously cancelled my appointment and just as graciously reinstated it when I received the second opinion before my originally scheduled date. I'm very thankful that my dentist, Dr. David W. Edwards referred me. When I returned to him and viewed my X-rays, I could see that Dr. Van Ness had done a complete and thorough procedure.

Dr. Van Ness was excellent.had 3 roots to work on and the procedure went well. You could follow along with what he was doing which was interesting. Had my regular dentist put in the permanent filling today and he said his work was excellent also.

Had my first root canal done by Dr. Oblad. Very friendly and professional. Took time to answer questions and even commented on the progress throughout the procedure after I told him that unlike many people, I found the details interesting. His assistant was excellent, (I'm sorry, I can't remember your name!), in her demeanor and expertise in taking very good X-rays. I would have no qualms in going back if I needed their services.

I had a root canal done many years ago in another state, but I began experiencing pain in that tooth. Dr. Van Ness was able to diagnose the problem and worked hard to repair the untreated canal. Ultimately, he saved my tooth and I'm very grateful. My experience with everyone at this practice was pleasant and I highly recommend them to everyone. Thanks Dr. Van Ness!

This was my first time at Prescott Endodontic. Very nice staff and Dr. Innes very informative, he explained in detail the pros and cons.

I get very nervous about seeing a dentist. When you walk in, immediately you are put at ease.
Dr. Oblad was outstanding. He explained the procedure and answered every one of my questions before we started. I unfortunately do not remember the assistants name by the Doctor would know. She was great, a soothing voice which kept me calm throughout the procedure.
She explained the after care extremely well. At the end, the front desk was cordial and efficient.
The experience was far easier than I thought. I would recommend Dr Oblad very highly.
I do not write many reviews but in this case I felt I needed to do a review.
