Prescott Valley Animal Control reviews
8Officer Tim just helped me, an elderly disabled lady with a tragic situation. He showed care, concern, kindness and empathy. Thank you Officer Tim.
I called today for a dog off leash, Officer Lemon? (Not sure) dog chased me while walking my dog Lilly. Officer was very kind
Have always had great interactions with PV Animal Control. My brothers dog is an escape artist. He passed away & we inherited Katana. PV Animal Control knows her & have always been very understanding & helpful in returning her home.
ACO doesn’t do anything! If this weee marciopa county ppl would be paying for the crimes against their animals. Yavapai County is money hungry and all they care about is the mighty dollar. It’s disgusting! It’s not about the animals, never has been.
I am extremely grateful for animal control. The lady who answered the phone was very caring. A young boy was chased by a pitbull with another large dog loose on my street. The dog had growled and barked at the boy so he ran jumped over a 3 1/2' fence into my yard. The boy was very shaken and scared. Animal Control was here within 5 minutes of my call. Thank you for your immediate response!
The lady that answered the phone was extremely caring & thorough when it came to calling about an animal in need.
I called about 4 loose dogs attacking my dog through a fence and it's been a hour and a half and still no one has come for these dogs.the neighbor and I have approached them and they are nice enough to humans but definitely been neglected and after 30 mins of waiting I called to just get an ETA because it's freezing and they said both animal control vehicles were marked as out of service and could be in a meeting or he wasn't sure so now after 1 1/2 hrs these poor dogs are still running loose and my poor dog can barely go outside to use the bathroom without getting charged. I have 3 small children so thank god we have a fence but there are plenty of people that don't, plus these dogs just need to get off the streets and get some assistance themselves this is ridiculous
The people who work at the Prescott Valley Animal Control and Police Department should be ashamed of themselves. I found a stray dog with no tags on my street, the sweetest dog ever with no violent tendencies and I wanted to find its owner. I called last Saturday, December 1 and a police officer answered. I explained the situation and he said that Animal Control was not available and would not be for the rest of the weekend (this was at 6 p.m.). He told me he would not send a unit to help the dog and that my two choices were to keep the dog in my house or put it back where I found it. Seriously? This is part of your job and you are not available after 6 p.m. On a Saturday, and do not find it worth it to help an animal in its time of need. This town needs an upgrade when it comes to caring about its people and its creatures. You should be ashamed of yourselves.
