Prescott Valley Event Center reviews
22Hot and smoke of some sort in the air. Was hard to see. Bad air circulation. Video screen kept going off. Slow entry into building long lines. Friendly staff. Good security.
Love working at this venue. Everyone is friendly and treat you with respect. Bathrooms are fairly clean
Absolutely wonderful, everything was free and there was no push to join anything, and a delicious meal was provided. A ton of freebies, all very useful items, and a free photo.
There's really no bad seat for the Wrangler's games. But I do wish somebody would buy/bring back a hockey team to Prescott Valley. It was the best thing that ever happened to this stadium & town for entertainment!
Too cold for a blood drive. At least let them go upstairs where it might not be as freezing!
It a great place for a hockey game tho.
This review is specifically for ice skating. The facility is nice and I'm very appreciative of having access to a rink; however, I wish they offered skating during other times of the year as well. The employees have all been friendly and helpful, and the online system to book skating is easy to use. The only negative is their rental skates which are TERRIBLE. I get it, they're rentals; however, the blades are ground without anything resembling a radius. Recreational skates should have a radius of approximately 5/8"; blades without a radius will simply skitter across the ice regardless of how sharp they may be, thus landing the skater on their backside. If you have your own skates this is a nice place. If you're a newbie and must rent please don't judge skating by this experience - it's really fun and pretty easy to pick up with passable equipment. Remember to bend your knees a little bit)
Ice skating: I would give 4 stars if the safety monitor on the ice (Scott) actually did his job. Each time we've gone skating there's always at least a couple young male skaters tearing around the ice, unnecessarily gouging the surface, barreling recklessly through other skaters - including young children, and generally making a nuisance of themselves. Scott ignores this behavior and simply skates circles in center ice. After further observation it appears he's friends with the little terrors and could care less about any of the other patrons. There doesn't appear to be any oversight from the facility's leadership.
Nice place to view an event. Small enough where every seat in the house is a good seat. Loge (VIP) seating on the second level is nice. The padded seats are comfortable.
It's clean and set up well. Not confusingly laid out or anything. Easy to find your way. Parking lot is big. The actual events are hit and miss. You won't get much concerts or events. Just shows. Rock and gem show, gun show, garden show, etc.
Very nice facility easy parking pretty easy to get to once you know where it is we went there for a rock and gem show it was laid out great it's very professional would love to go there again for another event
From area leagues and concerts. It's the catch all of the town. If something is happening around Prescott Valley, this is the place is likely to happen at. The concession stand food is only a small step up from cafeteria food. The prices are a little high given the quality.
They held a dinner event in the arena. It was different and quite special to have it in an unusual place.
Great location for PBR! I have been going for 3 years now with my family. Perfect stadium for pretty much any seat it is not too large to get a good view of the action.
Had a great time taking my son to an event here. The parking lot was packed but the set up inside was not crowded like most venues as far as concessions went etc.we found a place across the street to park so it worked out well. Only reason for 4 stars was due to the initial parking issue.
Got ticket online had to pick up at will call when we got there they couldn't find them and try to tell me I've been from a different night bull
Awesome venue and the wrestling over the weekend was Great! And the ring side seats were awesome great staff.
Went for WWE WrestleMania live and had a great time. Seats weren't so close together that your sitting on one another. Front row seats. Didn't have the commenters and I think that was better. But make sure you don't record because they'll throw you out.
Decent size event center. Good prices. Always lots going on. Seating is great mostly everywhere you sit. Love it
Don't believe what it says on their website about the handicapped parking. They only had 15 that I could see. There was a sandwich sign in front of the door for NO ADMITTANCE. If you park in the handicapped parking you will have to walk completely around the building to the front. They need to at least keep the handicapped entrance open for events. Very sad since this is the only event center within a hundred miles. The people inside were great and so was the concert. The facility needs work, at least the handicapped portion.
Not being able to bring in water, then they charge $3.50 for a bottle, this place is a rip off! Families trying to watch their kids compete, $15 per day to get in plus you can't even bring in snacks. I eat at my car from other places just too keep those crooks from getting anymore money. The AIA needs top find a new venue.
