Presidential Pools, Spas & Patio reviews
14I contacted six pool builders for design consultations. Presidential had emailed me that they were busy and would be in contact soon. After being contacted I scheduled an appointment with Brett. He was very courteous and extremely knowledgeable about codes and permits and walked through the whole process. He was had a great poll design and I contacted him some possible changes. Even though I decided to go with another pool builder, I wanted to give a review because of the professionalism and knowledge I recieved through the consultation process.
Our pool project started in December of last year and is still not 100% complete. We have had to manage our own project throughout the entire process; They do not show for weeks at a time and missed every timeline they committed too.
The pool is beautiful but came at a heavy price to us for the amount of time and work we had to put into the project just to make sure they semi-finished.
The lights in the pool have already stopped working 2 1/2 months after being installed. We have been waiting weeks for them to be fixed with no communication from presidential.
I would never recommend working with presidential unless you have the time to manage your project alongside them, 8 months to have your project completed and like faulty equipment that they cannot seem to find the time to be fixed.
Ray was great, Tom Ryan was excellent but the site supervisor Norman Crittle is rude and disrespectful! Would have gone somewhere else if it hadn't already started. He made it such a terrible experience!
Excellent experience with Presidential! From the quality of work, to the price, to the workers, everything was on point! Our project manager, Billy was amazing & was extremely patient with us & kept us in the loop every step of the way. He was always on top of his crews to make sure each aspect came out perfect. They clearly only hire the best there, as their work is top notch. It was a tough wait, but sooo worth it! We would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to build a pool & hope they get lucky enough to have Billy as their project manager!
I am so disappointed with the management process for Presidential pools to construct my pool plus the lack of communication and customer service. After waiting 3 weeks, the man was to start the dig first thing today (Friday) ; he called saying he ran into problems with an earlier dig so he would arrive at 12 noon. At 5 PM he arrives, says the ground is hard, leaves at 5: 30, says because this is a holiday week-end, he will return Tuesday. Their website promotes the verbiage that they provide 24/7 project support.
I disagree. Perhaps they have too many pools to construct to provide quality management, communication and customer service to each customer.
There are other options out there. Sure I signed an agreement stating they are not responsible for damage to irrigation systems, their actions quite frankly border on reckless disregard for a customers property. Plan on shelling out another $1000 or more to repair your irrigation system. A waiver of liability just means they have permission to do it and now you have to guess where the problems lie underground with a pick axe in 90-100 degree weather or pay a professional to fix the system for you. I will share names shortly. Such a disappointment.
I'm not happy with the warrenty issues I have been having. For a year old pool it has a lot of issues. Latest isssue is water line tiles popped off.
We had a good experience with Presidential Pool Company, we had a issue with one thing that wasn’t done to our liking but it was a subcontractor no Presidential, they made sure to fix it the way we wanted it and it is wonderful now! We had 2 project managers Justin and Norm that did a great job and were great at communicating to us what was going to take place and when. We are very happy with the finished product!
I’d go through them again!
This has been the best experience we have had with ANY projects! We are always kept in the loop, some of the best communication of any contractor!
We have recommended Presitential pool to anyone looking for a pool!
Norm Crittle and Stephanie Aguirre have been amazing, always asking if we have any questions or concerns. When we do we get responses fast
Signed the contract in August of 2018. Our pool is still incomplete. I wanted to hold judgment until the end but this is unacceptable!
I WILL ADD TO THIS REVIEW THROUGHOUT THE REMAINING TIME IT TAKES TO COMPLETE OUR POOL. I WILL ALSO NAME NAMES & POST PICTURES!
Presidental Pools should be ashamed of themselves. I have ALL the emails.
Mr. Tony Agnew
They took so long to finish they always pass the blame on each other no one takes responsibility
Horrible company to work with. No communication at all. I signed the contract in January and still don't have a pool to swim in. They have lots of excuses and fingers to point at subcontractors but when it comes down to it presidential pools are the ones that fail! Would highly recommend using another company even if it costs more to do so.
These guys are great. Helped me to design exactly what I needed, Careful to leave your back yard neat when they leave for the day, and workers were very nice. When they were done, I was stunned at the result. My back yard looks like a resort now!
Presidential pools did my pool this last summer and i was just sitting outside and was looking at how beautiful it turned out. If you are in Phoenix looking for a pool builder.you really need to consider these guys. They really did a great job for me.
