Prickly Pear Inn, Cave Creek AZ

Decor and amenities are top notch. Location is on the main street, so traffic noise is an issue but not constant. I would stay here again if in the north Phoenix area.

Great location, spacious well appointed rooms with full kitchen.everything you need right down to pots, pans utensils, and incredibly friendly helpful people.

We had another lovely stay here! Our favorite month to visit this area is February when the skies are blue and the weather is mild. This trip we stayed in the bunny ears room (king bed, private balcony that faces the back), and it was perfect. The room was immaculate and very spacious. We checked in after hours and our key was waiting in the lock box, as promised. There are lots of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Our fav is the ice cream shop downstairs, El Encanto next door, and Grotto for breakfast. One night we cracked the slider and heard coyotes.

Prickly Pear Inn is amazing and we will definitely be back. The Pancake room was perfect and the cleanest room we've ever stayed in. Not only sparkling clean but, incredibly comfortable. They have thought of everything to make your stay perfect. It's also above the gift/wine store that is also amazing! Thanks so much for the perfect stay in Cave Creek!

What a perfect place to stay if you’re going to be in the Phoenix area! Super clean, beautiful accommodations. We will definitely stay there again. It should be noted that the inn and connected shops and Cantina are separate businesses. Reviews regarding food service don’t belong here. Prickly Pear Inn is top notch in every way.

I stayed here for my birthday and it was such a great hotel! The room was very spacious and the staff was extremely sweet! Check in/out was super quick and efficient! I will definitely be doing another staycation here in the future!

Very cool boutique hotel with beautifully decorated, private (only 11) rooms-in town for the rodeo. Stayed in Bearded Room which was wonderful! It offered a fully stocked kitchenette (minus silverware) to make meals-or opt to visit Stumbelina Cantina below and have homemade ice cream next door-both were so good! The Cantina closes 8-9: 00 so it is very quiet at night. This room also has a very large covered balcony with mountain views-especially great for coffee in the morning.
Walked up and down the street to all the fun shops.
It is a bit pricey, but worth the privacy (no one above or adjoined to room), quiet, convenient parking above or underground (great in the hotter months), balcony and the beautiful room!
A definite repeat stay for me!

My wife and I stopped in from our stay in Cave Creek. Very interesting, entertaining place. We enjoyed a cocktail at the very beautiful and fun Stumblinia Cantina.

We stayed at the Prickly Pear Inn for my sisters wedding. The Inn is so cute and in a great location in Cave Creek. The check-in is located in a cute little shop and we were able to check in early. The rooms were so nice and clean with a kitchenette and balcony. They are very secure too with a key needed for any door or elevator. There is a delicious ice creamery and restaurant Stumblina's attached to the Inn. We had a great bar tender at Stumblina's, Emily, and she was awesome! I definitely recommend The Prickly Pear Inn to my family and friends!

I reserved the Prickly Pear Inn for my family during my wedding last weekend. I heard nothing but rave reviews on the accommodations (each room had a full kitchen, most had balconies, and they all were very roomy and nicely appointed), location (right in the middle of Cave Creek and within walking distance to most shopping and restaurants, and they have a restaurant, ice cream shop, gift and wine shop on property), and extremely helpful and friendly staff. Renata did a great job helping me book the property, especially during the covid period as we had to change the dates. I highly recommend this adorable boutique hotel.

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at The Prickly Pear in Cave Creek. We stayed in the Violet Room and honestly we were in awe when we entered. The room was extremely spacious, gorgeously decorated, and super clean with pretty much a full service kitchen including kitchen supplies! The hotel is located in the middle of town so walking distance from great shops and restaurants, also the gift shop of the hotel is lovely with cute souvenirs, plus they sell beer and wine there which was extra convenient! We'll definitely be returning in the future, the town of Cave Creek was wonderful and we really enjoyed every moment of our stay! X

My husband and I were very impressed with Prickly Pear Inn from the beginning. They have excellent customer service, are in a fantastic location, and have given so much though to the rooms and amenities they provide. It was a beautiful place to stay (pictures don’t do justice!) and that “home away from home” feeling was felt.

LOVED this great hotel. It exceeded our expectations. The rooms are large and well situated. 60" wall-mounted TV. Kitchen with all the necessities, including a Keurig. Great balcony with table and chairs. Close to everything fun and delicious in Cave Creek, which is a REALLY great place for a getaway. Price is very reasonable for all you receive. Only thing I missed was a wall-mounted extendable mirror for applying make-up. Would highly recommend this place and can't wait to go back. Thank you, Prickly Pear!

I was only at the Prickly Pear for about 10 hours, but I saw enough of this really cute area to know I'd like to come back with my family. I got in late, and Paul made special arrangements to meet me for check-in. He then gave me a personal tour of the property. My room was spotless and everything has been updated. I would definitely recommend and hope to return.
