My Primo 10'x6' aluminum utility trailer I bought new about 4 years ago is the best trailer money can buy. (I got it on sale at a country feed store in North Commiefornia) The bed, sides and rails, tie-downs, welds, wheels, tailgate/ramp, and even the safety chains are all top-notch. Just finished duck season, hauling my Kawasaki 750 Brute Force all winter to the duck blind. The trailer has been sitting outside most of its life. No rust anywhere. And no one paid me to write this.haha You just don't get high quality products like this very often, so thought I would finally chime in.

The quality of the trailer is great! Justin was really helpful in getting everything ready and the transaction was flawless. Love the giving to Venture cause as well. Really makes it worthwhile in many ways!

Don't trust Justen G all that comes out of his mouth lies, says one thing and never fallows though. Product not good and would not replace or refund. Main frame came apart from bad welds. The supports for the ramps keep fall to side, said would take of and got nothing

2days after I bought it the wheel shears of with a light load. They fixed it but didn't replace the hub nor would they reimburse me for the the towing bill. 750.00.then on my next trip itstarted breaking there cheap welds. They refused to make it better because. Warranty said they didn't have room. I just had to buy more aluminum for the rebuild. Cost me another 51.0 in labor pluse 100.00 in stock.beware public. They

Recently purchased trailer from Primo directly in September 2023. Used it once and trailer bent on rear. Did not handle the pay load that it said it would. Also the tail gate latches snapped off and tail gate fell and was dragged. The worse of it that Primo will not honor their warranty because apparently you have 7 days from purchase to register the trailer. On would think that when you purchase item that it would be registered. That was never told to me at time of purchase when they took my cash. This is a scam. This will probably never get posted. Buyer beware folks. This all happened in Arizona out of their Phoenix office. I will speak to anyone about them to avoid what happened to me. Very disappointing from a company who states they are family owned.

Beware, these truly are the worst trailers on the market right now.
I work at a dealer who unfortunately has had to deal with these for over 2 years now. First started out with a few loads of aluminum trailers.missing parts galore, damaged trailers due to improper loading and stacking, and just all around garbage quality trailers. Then when you finally get them put together you need to fix most of the wiring since that is a mess as well.

The steel eco trailers are even worse. This company tried to grow to fast instead of maybe focusing on perfecting the trailers they started with. There's absolutely no reason one dealer should have to invest so much time and money on fixing such simple mistakes. We've literally had trailers show up where the trailer plug was not even long enough to go past the coupler.

Look elsewhere if you're looking to purchase a trailer because these are complete garbage.

Purchased A heavy 18 ft duty primo utility trailer back in 2021 and the quality is below average. I’ve had a few issues with the wiring, probably due to screws penetrating and grounding out some wires. Called Technical support, leaving messages several times but no response or call back. Would not recommend purchasing this brand, due to shoddy craftsmanship and poor support.

Look elsewhere! They refuse to stand behind their product. This is sad because I liked the features on this model. Bought a 12' low deck 7 months ago, was pretty happy with it until now. Have about 1600 miles on it, carrying a 2 seat Can Am (1600 lbs). The welds on the deck rails are cracking, some 3/8", a couple- 2" all the way across. While greasing the bearings, noticed that the tire had rubbed the tube for the light wires on the fender and tore it off one side. The fenders aren't mounted high enough, or the axle needs to be dropped, design flaw. Then I spun the tires and both have a 3/16" bounce. One side had a huge dent on the edge of the brake housing where it was smashed on top, close to the rotor. By the looks of the lack of paint in that spot, it was hit or dropped before they were painted by the axle manufacturer. There are chisel marks where someone beat on it trying to bend it back off the rotor. Messaged Ed, the guy I bought it from, but he said he didn't work there anymore. So called Primo's business line to explain what was happening. Gal who answered said there was no warranty and that Ed never worked for them. Thought that was real strange, because it was the same address. So messaged Ed back, he told me to take it down and show someone in the shop. So I did. Then the same young lady I talked to on the phone came out and didn't want to see the issues, couldn't care less, wasn't interested in customer service, kept talking about no warranty and that Ed never worked there. My buddy also had bought a trailer from him, so who's lying? (Asked what her position was there and she said human resource. What is an HR doing coming out for something that needed a shop supervisor?) That pissed us both off because Ed had a desk in the building and was having the guys check out our trailers before we took them. Clearly he was in a position of authority. So when pressed about it, she said that ALL the trailers they sell are damaged and have no warranty, and if they looked at it they would charge an hourly rate plus whatever costs to fix. They were bought under the premise of a year warranty on everything but the scratches and dings they had. Told her I wanted to speak to a supervisor. Something is definitely not legit with this place. Justin came out just before I was about to leave to see what the commotion was about, looked at what I was trying to show the HR lady and said that they would check it out if I left it with them. He was cool about it. First thing today, Tino messages me that the axle is messed up, Quoted cost of a new axle and labor. Asked if it was the brake rotors or the spindles, but just said the whole thing. I refuse to spend any more $ with a company that treats people like this. They sold you their product, done deal. Must not be wanting repeat customers. As my opinion, the guys in the shop were great to speak to, interested in the problems. HR lady would be fired if it was my company, but clearly this company has a higher echelon problem. No reason why a defective axle shouldn't be replaced by any manufacturer. I know they are all made in China, regardless of the company (except Dexter, but no one uses them because they cost more). They still should be checked out during the build, or during final inspection, but it is what it is. OWNER: ARE YOU READING THIS? I've dealt with other trailer companies with warranty issues, and never got the shady feeling like with Primo.

20’ 10k car trailer

Beyond frustrated with my trailer. I haven’t had it more than a year and ALL tires need replaced because of slipped belts. I’ve only towed the trailer twice since owning it, each time the trailer shook my truck so bad I had to pull over.

Additionally I found a cracked weld.

Primo’s customer service provided me with zero support or solutions. They did kindly inform me that tires aren’t covered under warranty, imagine that. If it was one or two tires, I’d understand, but ALL FOUR? There’s obviously a defect and a safety concern. I sure do appreciate spending thousands of dollars on a trailer that needs $600+ more in new tires.

I purchased a 2024 14 x 77 Aluminum Utility Trailer. I have a Polaris XP Turbo side by side and was told this trailer was designed for my application. I ran my side by side up on the trailer, I crumpled the the loading ramp. Contacted Primo immediately, asked them to replace the trailer with a trailer that would work for my application. I was told I now have a used trailer and they could not refund my money. I asked to talk to the CEO, I was told the CEO would not talk to a retail customer. Here is the corporate quote regarding customers, “We value our customers so we are committed to providing exceptional service and support so you can have a frictionless buying experience. “. My experience was not frictionless and the support was non existent. There customer commitment is apparent by their actions not their words.
After extensive conversations, Primo offered to refund me 70% of my purchase price on trade of a trailer that would work for my application. 70% was equal to a $1,300 spanking for me for doing business with Primo. The trailer never pulled a load and yet they could only offer $1,300 less for their New Trailer, not to mention I still would need to pay full price for a trailer that would work for my application. “Totally Unacceptable “
If you choose to by this product, I would recommend you purchase a trailer that is rated twice your needed payload as their payload ratings appear to substantially under stated.
“ Buyer Beware”

I wouldn’t give this trailer manufacturer a 1 star review. We are a motor carrier that hauled their trailers & we were never paid by the broker for the transport. Contacted Primo regarding the issue & they refused to pay because Weston Cargo (broker) isn’t contracted by Primo. We have requested the name & contact of their contracted brokerage but Primo refused to provide this information for collection & possible double brokering. Left multiple messages & emails for the owner at Primo & haven’t received a response nor from their logistics team. Primo is allowing a $2500 unpaid invoice for transport destroy their name & credibility. After several inquiries & demand for information from Primo Corporations to help with the attempt to collect restitution on unpaid funds, Primo Corporations finally admitted to knowing their contracted logistics broker isn’t legit & is double brokering these loads out to other brokerage firms that have no intent on paying the transport company for their services. Anyone in the trucking industry knows that double brokering freight is highly frowned upon. Motor carriers be AWARE if you are sending your truck into Primo Corporations for a load of their trailers.

Recently purchased a new Primo 14’ aluminum utility trailer from M&M Trailer Sales in Palmyra, NE. Traded in a 12’ Featherlite. Roland and Chad at M&M had a nice inventory, were friendly and most helpful in assisting us in selecting the right trailer for our needs. Was happy with the quality of the trailer and really liked the bifold ramp design. M&M guys were fair on the trade in allowance and pricing for the trailer was good. Very happy with the trailer so far and most pleased to have a quality dealer close for any needed post sales support. Thank you!

I recently sold my flat car hauler and started looking around for a utility trailer. My Jeep doesn't work well for a truck! I happened on an ad from Primo Trailers and saw exactly what I was looking for! 5'X8" bed, all aluminum and at a great price. Made arrangements with Justen at the Phoenix dealership to buy it and a few days ago, I went and picked it up. Justen had all the paperwork done, so all I had to do was sign and hand over the money. He was great to work with and I was out the door in short order. The trailer towed like a dream; I didn't even know it was there. I love the bi-fold rear ramp as there's nothing to look through or over! Beautiful welds, well-constructed and everything is bolted together, ready to go. This is a great trailer for someone like me that periodically needs to move something but doesn't have a truck. Nothing to rust and it's so easy to tow!

2nd trailer i purchased at the Commerce City location. I had let them know what I wanted and they had it ready when I showed up. The trailer seems well built. The last trailer was still great after 2 years. Prices were reasonable and the finance person completed the paperwork in a very efficient manner.

I purchased my HDCAR82X16-TA-10K in February of 23. After. Comparing my trailer to others, I have been very satisfied with materials used and engineering of the trailer. I added a tongue tool box from Primo, and once again a very well engineered and built product. I had an issue with the lock mechanism on the toolbox, however the service representative (Brinton) at Primo was outstanding to work with and resolved my issue within a couple days.
Thanks Brinton for your outstanding customer service

Spent a couple weeks looking for a 14' utility trailer to haul a couple of quads and finally stumbled onto the Primo Trailer website. Great price on a single axel 14' steel trailer (better than a comparable used trailer). I reached out to Justen and he quickly replied to my email with a written "Out the door" quote.
I picked up the trailer today and it's very high quality, equipped with all the necessities (tie down loops, bolt on spare tire mount - with spare tire, led lighting, rear ramp with spring loaded locks and a nice warranty.
Pros: easy to work with, great product, high quality and ease of delivery
A few minor cons: the price is CA$H - if you wanna charge it, expect to pay another 3%. Unfortunately, they have no flexibility on their price and NO military discount!

We just picked up our new trailer today, super impressed with this, well built and plenty of room. Well worth the drive from Northern Arizona to get this, you can't beat the value. The complete staff was a pleasure to work with and we look forward to a long life relationship. Thanks Justen.

I would highly recommend them.

I am a Trailer Dealer that sells over 400 trailers annually.

I purchased an entire tractor trailer of Primo Trailers in April 2022. Trailers arrived with many of them damaged and missing parts. I have had 5 different representatives since 2022. Each of the reps tried very hard to rectify the issues and for the most part supplied the parts needed to be able to sell the trailers. Each time there was a turnover of employees I would need to restart the conversation of all the issues I was having with the trailers.

Many of the trailers after just a short time of being on my lot became discolored and had stains. This was brought to the attention of the factory rep and even the owner of Primo at the North American Trailer Dealers Convention in Nashville, TN in August 2022.

After taking a loss on many of the trailers due to the ugly appearance of the aluminum and rusted d-rings, I was promised reimbursement but after 2 months of waiting was told that it wasn’t going to happen. I wasn't asking for much, just to be made whole for any losses I had to take for discounted damaged trailers. There was some offering of future credit towards a new delivery of trailers but when you lose complete confidence in a manufacturer you tend to not be overly excited about ordering more aggravation.

I would avoid Primo Trailers as a dealer and as a consumer. I do not believe the issues I was having were due to workers at Primo, but more of a management issue.

If a dealer can not get Primo to take care of issues acknowledged by the manufacturer how will a consumer?

I recently switched from a Ford F250 to a Subaru Outback, meaning I was now in need of a lightweight aluminum trailer to haul firewood and mowers around. I did a lot of homework in reviewing comparisons of aluminum trailers and it quickly became obvious that the Primo aluminum utility trailer was at the top of the pack. It is exceptionally lightweight, and yet extremely heavy duty and its' price tag is more than fair. I believe it's the best value on the market and I expect this 6x10 trailer to last for many, many years. Thank you Primo for making such a great product!
