I have nothing but good things to say about Prose. The girls I see go above and beyond and are super skilled. Much more personable than a typical nail salon. Highly recommend.

AMAZING! Izzy was incredible. She was blowing my mind with her skill, knowledge, & suggestions. She really cares about the health of your nails, & wants to make your nails look beautiful. I left with my expectations being above & beyond what I thought possible from a nail salon. You won't want to go anywhere else!

UPDATE:
The manager called and reimbursed me for the $25 gift card that I was unable to use. Assured me that this was not the experience she would like people to have.

Not one to post negatively, but if you haven't been to Prose since pre-pandemic, this experience was very different than before. I used to have a membership at Prose and raved about the experience they provided. I received a gift card from my mother-in-law to go pamper myself since I recently had a baby. Because of this, it took me some time to book since she gifted this to me. The nail tech was very kind, did a good job, but it wasn't anything above and beyond; the things that set Prose apart were not there. I didn't get asked if I wanted a drink, or neck pillow, or if I wanted/needed my rings cleaned. The cost of this mani/pedi, did not reflect the service I was provided. Then upon check out, I found out that one of the gift cards I received had an expiration date and had expired. They sell $100 Gift Cards and get a free $25 Gift Card. What they don't tell you, or note on the gift card, is that it expires. Even though the Gift Card I had didn't state any expiration date anywhere, they declined to honor it. I understand things expire, but the response I got for trying to use it was rude. They still use clean tools, but you can find better customer service elsewhere. And if you got a extra gift card, know it does expire shortly after the purchase.

Alex R. Always does an amazing job at my nail art. I show her a picture and she always makes my nails look identical. Love her! It’s such a cute place and the membership is so worth it.

I liked my manicure. The technician took her time to get the gel manicure polish perfect. I should have gone with a different color for my toes but that's my fault. The only downside to going to this nail shop was the price. Very expensive.

This place is great. In my opinion it is world class in a high level quality salon. The nail technicians that work here are excellent and I have no reservations in highly recommending them.

Alex is awesome! I love my classic nails. I don't tend to follow nail trends but I have seen other customers with beautiful trendy nails. She can do it all! I highly recommend!

If I could give zero for customer service I would! I bought a gift card at another location and was told I could use for any location. The Arcadia location can see the gift card amount but won’t honor it! The other location is closed so I just lost money. I was not notified they were closing, they only notified members. I am looking into if this is even legal, I was sold under false pretenses and they refuse to make it right! One repeat customer lost, so don’t buy gift cards here as they will probably close too!

I was a member of Prose Central and got forced into Arcadia when central closed. I’ve had to cancel my membership due to poor customer service. No one picked up the calls nor called back if I left a voicemail. I still would stop by once per month for a pedicure but apparently they are charging more in person versus what you book through their app, which I find very deceiving. Management should make some adjustments.

The Uptown Plaza location was better-larger and lighter. Feels cramped. The stylists are excellent so it's worth it.

What was suppose to be a self pamper experience turned into a 2 hour ordeal that was a waste of time and money. The manager never addressed any of the issues and even though they looked up my gift card in the system they said it wasn’t valid after my pedicure leaving me to pay full price (didn’t offer a member discount or anything to make it right) even though I had a $125 gift card in hand. I left in tears, customer service isn’t hard people - just talk to your customers don’t hide.

This place is an absolute joke. They have zero respect for their customers and their time. I purchased a gift card for my wife to let her do something nice for herself, but the location I purchased the gift card closed months after. The day my wife finally was able to take the time away from our own business, she spent well over an hour trying to book an appointment. First, she called several times but was never able to get any employee to answer the phone, then on their website, which proved nearly impossible. Even after thinking she had done everything correctly to book her appointment when she arrived, she was told that they didn't have an appointment for her and asked her to wait two hours for the next available one. When she was speaking with the woman working the register, she had he look up the gift card to remind her how much was on it. They could see that it was in my name and told her the amount of the card, but after she sat around and wasted time waiting and getting her nails done, they told her she could not use the gift card because it was purchased at a different location. If they could see that that card was purchased at another location and the amount on the card, how is it that their system couldn't access the amount on the card to put toward her purchase? She had asked to speak to a manager, and after she stepped outside to call me; when she re-entered the store, the manager refused to come out and speak to her again and hid not far out of site. Rather than do anything to solve the problem or even offer anything for her trouble, they rushed her out of the store after refusing to let her continue to speak to the manager.

This may be a privately owned franchise, but that does not give them the right to ruin the name of a national brand, and being a national brand all sharing the same network, how is it that they were unable to use a gift card purchased at a different location? If you buy a gift card for Mcdonald's in Washington, you can still use it at any location, most of which are privately owned franchises.

We will never recommend PROSE to anyone in Arizona or elsewhere.
