Using the word " Quality" in it's name is a bit of a stretch.
Nor does it look like the picture.

We came to wislow for a wedding but also came to see some of the historical route 66 locatons, the Eagles famous "staning on a corner" location & see some of the outdoor activities northern AZ had to offer. The hotel was under construction in the main lobby, which was not disclosed at the time of booking. The unlevel, majorly chipped up concrete was exposed, and a huge tarp divider up dividing off the mail lobby & breakfast area from the front desk, making any of that area unaccessible. Therefore, breakfast was very limited and was served in the pool area with the chlorine gases. Not appetizing. There were random, sparse furniture pieces around to eat on and ony 2 small tables. Everyone was looking around like where do we sit, even though there was room for more tables. The room itself was clearly unvaccumed, with a pile of shavings some sort, next to the bed. At that point, I began to notice the whole hotel wasn't vacuumed well. Small debris everywhere in the room, near the closet and down the hallways & stairs while walking to breakfast. Generally unkept. The information binder was outdated. There were 2 outlet plates/ receptacles, both near the mirror, not screwed in the wall properly in the room, so when I would use them I'd have to hold the plate back to unplug my straightener or the half of the outlet would come out. I reported it as a maintenance issue. We unfortunately had a huge cocroach crawl out from the flooring edges in the bathroom while my son was using the restroom that we had to kill. I also noticed one while leaving near the entrance we were using on the west side. So more bugs. We can expect it a little living in AZ but not on the 2nd floor of what is supposed to be a name brand hotel. Spray for bugs The hallways of the hotel are permeated with chlorine gases b/c of the indoor pool, which made it hard to breathe, but the room was fine. The widow can be opened & the AC worked fine. The unit just ran loud even for an under the window unit. The service at night was a person who showed little initiative and put off a heavy attitude of really not wanting to be there or check us in. Bare minimum interaction. So to me, it wasn't up to par with what I have come to know to be expected from a Quality Inn hotel and the value we paid for. We know they repurpose & renovate old hotels, but this one needed some serious TLC. I want my family and I to feel taken care of, not feel like they are in a dirty ran down hotel. I pay a little higher price to book a hotel I can trust to be well maintained and I did not get that this time. The whole experience was lacking.
Some good points were the daytime staff seemed short staffed, but worked at a quick pace trying to cover the front desk & keep up with stocking up breakfast. The parking lot was well lit with plenty of parking. I checked the sheets/bedding, they seemed to be clean. The bathroom had a run-down look & needed updated but seemed to be clean with Clean towels. Pillows were kind of lumpy but clean. The furniture had an updated look and the location was convenient with a Walmart, Safeway plaza & an entrance ramp to the I-40 near the hotel. We had an amazing day kayaking at Clear Creek reservoir and eating at the flat bed Ford Cafe. The standing on a corner experience was cool with lots of nearby places to shop & eat. The 9/11 memorial was humbling with actual beams from the twin towers rt there. The la posada hotel, dining room & grounds were gorgeous. La posada dinner menu was so flavorful! Great chef! We drove to a few historic route 66 locations nearby, which was so neat to see them in person. The petrified wood was a cool natural phenomenon to see. The railroad history of the town was so interesting to learn about. Lots of classic cars to see. Overall, a good trip. Just wish our the hotel was better kept up and showcased or promoted some of the nearby attractions more.

The rooms have been remodeled and are new and clean. I highly recommend this hotel. The lobby and other areas are still in remodel condition but our stay here was great. My wife is picky and was very happy with our room. Quiet and comfortable.

We stayed at this establishment on June 16,2023. The picture of the hotel was a brown color but when we rolled up, the hotel was painted white now? There were signs on the front door stating to use the side door? Walking in the side door, it was hot and filthy, the lobby was being renovated and we were not informed of this.
We asked about AARP or Military discounts, none were offered. The employee stated we were on the second floor and there is no elevator, we were not offered a first floor room despite being a disabled veteran/senior citizen.
As we walked upstairs to our room, the heat was evident as was a smell. We opened the door to our room which smelled and were very disappointed. Old furniture, carpet, drapes made for a scary stay. The window that looked out to the indoor pool and lights that glared into our room because the blackout curtain did not cover the window were a lack of attention to detail. The lamp by my side did not have a light bulb. The air vent in the bathroom was covered with dirt, the shower rod was not secured properly to the wall, and they gave us two paper thin bath towels to use.
It is the only hotel I have ever stayed at where the front door to the room doesn't close by itself.
In the morning, the breakfast was a pancake machine, cereal, and some muffins. The only place to eat were some tables by the pool.
It's interesting to note that on the front of the hotel there is a sign for DJ's, when we asked about it the employee stated the restaurant had been closed for years?
I cannot recommend this disaster of a hotel, and there is nothing "quality" about it. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else. If you have any experiences with hotels, this one is on the bottom of the list.

It seems like they are in process of making upgrades (it needs it), the lobby floor is concrete and tarp is covering one side, the front desk staff is helpful. The room was okay, quiet and the AC is freezing cold if that is what you want. TV channels are sporadically changing but have good assortment if you keep scrolling through. The location is fantastic, easy access from freeway and tons of food options around. Breakfast is very basic. Wi-Fi works great. Pool area looks nice. Stayed for a week for work, so having Safeway walking distance was nice. Microwave and fridge worked.

My room was a little dusty, but not bad, however, I had family staying at the same hotel, but in a different room, and they said the carpet felt sticky and when they were taking a shower all this black stuff washed off their feet. No bedbugs though

I really enjoyed my stay here! We checked in at the front desk, but don't be fooled by all of the construction materials. It doesn't affect the stay at all. I felt bad when I saw one family walk away as soon as they peeked in through the door. They didn't even look at the pool. The pool. I will get back to that in a minute. The front desk guy was nice, but didn't look very professional. While my mom was checking in, I ran over to see what the indoor pool looked like and WOW! It was the nicest pool ever. It was huge, had very nice lights, and the hot tub was INSIDE the pool. The breakfast buffet was also in the pool room and made for a nice convenient combination of amenities. It also came with pool toys you could use for free. I was very impressed. The room was very nice and looked like it had been recently upgraded. The television had many channels and the bathroom was very big. One of the nicest hotels I have ever been in. Oh also, my mom was worried about me using the pool by myself, but the room had a window that overlooked the pool so she could watch me. It also had a Laundromat and a car wash nearby. It was very close to the Standin' on a Corner Park, which we saw in the morning. One thing I can't forget is the staff. The lady who was helping with breakfast refilled the machine for me even though breakfast was almost over. That was so nice of her! By the way, it had pancakes instead of waffles, which was a nice change. I am very impressed with the quality of this Quality Inn (get it? Quality of the Quality Inn?: D) Anyways, here is my final rating:

Result: 5 stars (if I could I would give it 5.5 stars: D)

No options for breakfast if you don't eat pancakes or processed food. Very seldom could you find someone at the desk.

The location is convenient to get on the freeway. The motel needed a lot of of fixing up to do. The pool was unavailable. One exit was not able to be used. Other than that everything else was fine.

Don't Check in without a BIG Discount, WHY? The Directtv is out & when you check for outages in this zip code ONLY Quality Inn is without service, I've been here since yesterday at 4pm & they have been out of TV since then. The front desk says they haven't heard back from them. Funny You know if this was their house they would be SCREAMING every hour at DirectTV

Worst mattress ever. The mattress in room 112 is a lopsided slab of concrete. You have to sleep with your head at the foot of the bed because of the slope. The pillows are small, hard squares like a throw pillow on a couch. The place is clean, but they should be ashamed of the bedding.

1. Dark red stain in carpeting in two places - disgusting
2. Nasty dirt and grime stains in tub/shower
3. Damaged Sheetrock just painted over - not repaired
4. Bathroom light not even aligned correctly
5. Sink handle broken. Would spin but it engage
6. Idiot at the counter answered phone while I was checking in said no vacancy then-looked at line and said I have at least two more rooms but I will save them for someone walking in. - Absolutely Stupid business practice.
7. And finally a two story building with NO ELEVATOR: this usu violation of ADA. I have heart disease, diabetes- three back surgeries and had to haul my suitcase upstairs.
Injure my back doing so.
This hotel was not up to Choice standards!

Traveler Beware! As soon as I walked in I smelled mold. The room I was given smelled like mildew and I soon found out why. The carpet next to the window was saturated with water. The lock on the window was broken and when I notified the person at the desk the the response was "we know". The breakfast included consisted of frozen muffins and other unappetizing items. Stinky hotel, bad breakfast and bad service is a bad combination. If I could rate them Zero stars I would. Definitely not worth the the price they charge.

Zero stars for the room and zero stars for the service. Overbooked the hotel and put us in a room not fit to stay in. The room had either been used to corral animals or was used by the Marines to conduct urban warfare training, maybe both.
