I was in the hospital for 1 day and got told I had 1 kidney stone in both kidneys and an infection in right one. Then he told me I needed surgery for that specific reason. After I woke up from surgery my NURSE told me that I didn't have kidney stones and that he put a Stent in for the infection. I barely saw or talked to Dr. Mehan at all. Later that weekend I was released in 24 hrs after surgery. I came back a few days later because it's was hurting worse then ever. I got told a million DIFFERENT things all over again! This dr. Really doesn't have a clue what he is talking about. This is the exact reason I now have even more trouble then what I did before. I hope no one ever goes though this. I now have more problems then what I had when I went in to the hospital. Take my advice and don't come here If you want to stay healthy and alive.

I was diagnosed with enlarged prostate and that was causing symptoms of weak urine flow and frequent urination at night. I was prescribed meds for assisting with flow and shrinking prostate size from a previous doctor. I was taking those meds for two years before reading that the oral meds for shrinking prostate were not very effective for someone like me who had a large median lobe. I then investigated treatments that were effective for treating large median lobes and had the least side effects. I came upon articles on aquablation which appeared promising. I happened to find a YouTube video of Dr. Mehan performing an Aquablation surgery which detailed the procedure and decided that I would have it done. The number of procedures done by Dr. Mehan put my mind at ease that I’d be in good hands. Although I don’t live in Arizona I had the procedure done in his Mesa location and have been off the oral meds ever since. I’ve been able to get much better sleep. The surgery has been a blessing for me and I’m glad I found Dr. Mehan and had the procedure.

After I was diagnosed with a potentially dangerous bladder neck contracture scarring on July 28 in Florida, I spoke to Dr Mehan, who offered to put my on the schedule for
3 days later on Monday july 31 at 7am. So I flew to Arizona. He performed a delicate state of the art procedure using the opitlume balloon. No bleeding and only minimal pain for a few days. Immediate relief. Only time will tell if it will work for me. Dr Mehan has an excellent skill set, a big heart, and a lot of confidence. His patients always come first. He is truly one of the best urologists. The staff treated me with respect and kindness. MA sendi was very helpful. Thanks to all.

Dr Mehan has treated me successfully for kidney stones twice. He is an amazing doctor and also has great caregivers on his team.

My complaint is with Dr. Meehan’s office staff. I called for an appointment with Dr. Meehan over a month ago while suffering with kidney stones, they told me I had to wait a month for an opening. Then when I did show up, STILL in great pain, I accidentally forgot my wallet at home. I told them I would call them as soon as I got home to pay, but they REFUSED to let me see the doctor. So as I stood there in the office, holding a bottle of the stones I had collected during that monthlong wait, they turned me away…for $35.

“You have kidney cancer” was the worst thing ever said to me. Fortunately, I was referred to Dr. Rahul Mehan. I was very anxious but the first time I spoke with Dr. Mehan he was reassuring, confident and calming due to his relaxed manor over the phone. Dr. Mehan was direct, honest, and very complete with his explanations. He did not rush. He thoroughly answered all of my questions and was genuinely concerned for my health and my future. I’m so very grateful to him for a wonderful prognosis and look forward to continuing my care in the capable hands of Dr Rahul Mehan.

Dr. Mehan is very professional, but also very passionate towards helping others. He showed compassion for my situation. He walked me thru possible surgical options and explained the pros and cons of each. We went with a Robotic Partial Nephrectomy. Surgery was complex, but went great! I’m now cancer free, thank you Dr. Mehan!

Nice guy but wait times long. 40 minutes after my appt.time, told 30 more minutes. The pt.next to me had the same approach.time. Double booking at pt.expense?

Let me expound on my 6/2022 review. Dr. Rahul Mehan is just about the best doctor I have had the pleasure to meet. Professionalism plus medical expertise is admirable, going out his way to make his patients comfortable, helps them with affordable scripts and on the whole is a blessing. Front Office (she had to be new), she forgets she is the Director of First Impressions and represents the firm and the doctors. Too bad her professional chip malfunctioned.
