Happy Hour Nachos are amazing! Service was great start to finish. Their Margaritas are delicious as well. The hubby and I had such a great time, we will be back often. Tia Rosa's has gained some new regulars.

Disappointing. The restaurant used to be quite popular. I was never a big fan, but I had a dish that I liked (something Mazatlan). That dish is flavorless now. The wait staff is not even trying. Won't go back.

Disappointed. The food has no spice for Mexican food. Salsa is bland. Waiter was friendly but slow. Prices are a bit high as well.

There's a reason it wasn't crowded I guess. There are better places to go

Delicious food, my favorite dish is Salmon Tacos, but the chimichangas and quessadillas are wonderful!

The food is good, if they ever bring it out to you. Anticipate getting ignored by the server for 45+ minutes at a time, whether you’ve ordered yet or not. This place used to be great, wouldn’t be surprised if they’re going out of business soon.

Not sure where to even start here. I started going to Tia Rosa’s back in 2003 when I moved to Mesa. It had amazing food and service. My how things have changed. We visited on a Saturday night when most places are busy and the place was a ghost town. Food was okay at best. Portions are much smaller while prices have increased. They pass the credit card processing fee on to you and act like it’s normal and everyone is doing. Silverware was dirty. Cups were dirty. Our waiter was not concerned about our experience at all came across as condescending. It’s sad to see a Mesa icon in this kind of shape. I can’t imagine the place staying open more than a few months without MAJOR changes.

The pico tasted like paint thinner. I had to spit it into my napkin, I don't know what was wrong with it but it was pretty scary. There's so much potential here. We gave it lots of chances because we were hoping we caught it on bad nights. I think their specialty is the cheap margaritas unfortunately. I've had a few of the dishes but they come out cold and late. I'm pretty sure I saw the owner berating the staff once too. The food I've gotten when it isn't rotten tasted so good, it's just cold. Please save this restaurant

We truly tried to like this restaurant, but for us it is 3 strikes and they're out. Each and every time the food was not hot, and did not come out as we ordered it. Tonight the Pico, that I asked or on the side, was plopped on top of our rice and beans. The worst part was the horrible, chemical taste of the Pico- something was very wrong with it. Our server replaced it, but what she brought us was lukewarm. Everyone was nice and friendly, but you can't eat nice and friendly. Such a shame, because the potential to be a fabulous restaurant is there, but some things are very wrong with the operation of this establishment.

Let me just say this place is great. I love the chimichanga dinner there. Tonight I told the waiter that I didn't want any beans in my chimi and they made me the perfect meal. They have. 99 cent margaritas on Monday. The habenaro salsa is the absolute best

I’ve always loved the food at Tia Rosa. My boyfriend and I went on the 4th of July for our anniversary. They only had one server working, so the manager was helping take care of the tables, and she was so sweet! I really appreciate that this location was open!

This place belongs on kitchen nightmares episode. Unfortunately it's sad cause it's a great looking restaurant. It is well decorated and has a huge patio, overall cool setting.
However, you can just tell something is wrong right when you walk in. The service is bad, the food wasn't good and you can just tell something is not working all that great.
With the style of the restaurant and location, this place should be packed daily. It's the food and service. If the food was fantastic, it would be packed. The food wasn't even hot. You normally get thw whole don't touch the plate it's very hot line. Nope, the cheese wasn't even melted on the beans, and there was barely any rice. Just overall bad.

Very cozy Mexican style sit down and be served restaurant. Modest prices, but a very large portion of tasty food. Quaint atmosphere

Absolutely the worst restaurant web site I've ever seen.try putting your menu online. Just so you know its what the internet and being online is for, welcome to the year 2000.my mistake its 2023 i got lost in your world for a second there

Be sure and ask the price of your margarita before you order. The prices are not on the menu. We got a huge surprise when we got our bill!

This place is not authentic. Unfortunately we found out the hard way. I ordered hard shell beef tacos and they came out in taco shells looked to be purchased at Fry’s. And my wife ordered the shrimp tacos and the shrimp had to have been frozen and it they were small. There was no flavor to our food except a Smokey flavor from the beans which that and the chips and salsa were the only good part.

They definitely shouldn’t charge so much for the food they have on the menu.

We left this place due to service. Close to 10 minutes no water no chips. There were a total of 4 tables with people. Wont go back.

Restraunt is beautiful. Service was descent. Was very slow for the fact we were the only customers at that time. Purposely went at an odd time to beat the crowd. Server never asked how our food was because maybe they knew the answer. We got the beef "Carne asada". The lighting in a booth is terrible so maybe on the menu it said roast, idk. It was the driest roast I've ever encountered and it was void of flavor. Not even a salty flavor. I was so embarrassed for them and I spent 60 on 3 plates for my daughters 16th bday dinner. It was so disappointing and I should have made a fuss but I didn't want to make it worse for my daughter.
