Dr. Porter is everything you would want in a neurosurgeon. Experienced surgeon with great bedside manner.

Dr Porter is a very kind and knowledgeable physician. He explained everything to me in detail our first visit, and reiterated all the information during this visit. He is a prayerful man. Though nervous about such a detailed surgery, I am confident that under his tools, my prognosis will be excellent. I am looking forward to being able to walk and play golf again.

Excellent doctor with excellent communication skills. Takes what ever time is necessary so the patient has complete understanding what and how procedures will be done.

Dr Porter is the best. Did great job on on my back surgery last Oct. Now I can walk. Jasmin is great, and I saved the best for last. Andrew is perfection and so helpful and professional. He goes the extra 100 miles! Someday maybe I’ll meet him in person! Hah!

Dr. Porter is skilled and professional at all times. He has great bed side manner and always tells you what you need to know. I have had two operations with Dr. Porter and I would recommend him to anyone who needs his services.

I started out in debilitating pain to the point where I could hardly walk. After doctor Porter put in a pain stimulator I am pleased to say I can walk with no pain at all I'm talking about zero pain I can bend down with no pain I can move with no pain it's like I have 10 years of my life back I can't say enough about Randall Porter and if you have any doubts at all clear your mind he is the one to go to.

UPDATE: 8/15/2023: Well after all these years I am going to have surgery with Dr. Porter. Won't get into details but more back surgery is about the last thing I wanted. The last was in 2014 and was not with Dr Porter or Barrow. That surgery really didn't work out that well and when I thought I may need more surgery I did more investigation and most all of my other providers recommended Barrow for any Spine surgery and many specifically named Dr. Porter.

I met with Dr Porter yesterday and after extensive radiology testing he laid out my options. Dr Porter does not sell or push and surgeries and openly states if surgery is opted for he would like the very shortest, efficacious surgery he could do. Well I agree with that right down the line. Anyway, I am opting to go ahead with surgery as extensive PT, Nerve Blocks, Ablations, Epidurals etc did really help me at all from various pain clinics.

I will update this after the surgery and how it went but i have all the confidence that one could have or a positive outcome.

I have known Dr Porter for four years now and am back again to see him because I need the best for what I have coming next. Lots if big decisions and none easy but I trust his decisions, treatment and surgical skills. He has a calm manner and fully explains what your problem is in plain English which I appreciated. I also appreciate the fact that he will tell flat out if a surgery isn’t in your best interests!
Bottom line, if you need a great Neurosurgeon, I would strongly recommend you see Doc Porter!

IMHO, Randall Porter, M. D.is nothing short of a miracle worker. Since my lumbar spine surgery Dec 1, I have recovered and completely healed. I no longer have pain or any of the accompanying symptoms from lumbar nerve damage. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Porter and his entire staff (esp. Andrew and Kim Marston PT). I cannot thank them enough for obtaining such a remarkable outcome. I feel as though Dr. Porter has added a number of years to my life - years that I thought would be fighting pain and now years of joy and MOVEMENT!

I was hesitant to have my surgery done even though it was something that had to be done, after meeting with Dr Porter I was completely at ease and being the first surgery I have ever had it was an experience that was better than I ever expected. I just want to thank Dr Porter and his whole staff for the great treatment -thank you.

I found Dr. Porter to be the ultimate professional, very thorough in his explanation of the surgery needed and the necessary follow-up. Dr. Porter is amazing! After 3 surgeries with him, I wouldn’t go anywhere else! 2 spine fusions and a chiari surgery, he is knowledgeable, friendly and you’re getting the best of the best!

I had a brain tumor that was causing a lot problems in my life. Dr. Porter removed it and gave me back my life. He and his team are fantastic and I feel very blessed to have had him, he has done thousands of these types of procedures so we knew I was in the best hands.
