Randy's Restaurant & Ice Cream reviews
16The service here is amazing. We were served by Debbie and she made our day. Seriously the kindest, happiest woman. We left Randy's with full bellies feeling happy
A fav of the locals, Randy's doesn't disappoint. A diverse menu of soups, sandwiches, burgers and plate meals is reassuring comfort nutrishment. And although dated decor from the 80s/90s, sometimes displaying school children handmade art work and such might seem to be a bit of a take back, the food and friendly service should definitely be welcoming and appreciated. The food we ordered was freshly made to our order and promptly served. Prices are not necessarily a "bargain" as such but within reason based on portions and content. We'd recommend Randy's, but remember they only take cash or check, no plastic.
Such a lovely place with a wide range of food options. The staff is super great! I highly recommend this eatery!
This was my first trip to Randy's but it's not going to be the last. The food was great. The servers were too. It's a 5 Star rating except for one thing:
They don't accept credit cards!
You've been warned.
Coffee and a slim sandy sandwich with turkey sausage and a side of citrus! Comes out really fast! Awesome!
Love the style of the place, unlike many restaurants these days, I don’t get nauseated here. Good prices as well!
Good old fashion diner with great food. Had a continental divide ice cream. Very good. Cash only, but has ATM inside.
I went here a few times with my grandpa. He loves it and I can see why. They have a good selection of food, plus a cozy environment. The staff are friendly and actual remember you if you come in more than once. Too bad I don't live in the area; I would go more often myself.
VERY DELICIOUS! Good and very quick service. Our waitress was very nice and stayed on top of everything. My family from California really enjoyed the food. And will return when they come back to visit.
Dated in regards to menu, decor, and clientele.however, I have never met so many genuinely nice people (customers and employees) at a restaurant in recent memory. The food was better than average, but be aware it is 'cash only' with an ATM inside.
Randy's has a special place in my heart. Every neighborhood should have an instant go-to restaurant like Randy's! Most of the staff has been there forever! It's fun to walk in and be recognized as a good friend. I adore all of them. And their food is delicious, comforting, and reminiscent of home.
This was my first experience eating at Randy's. As a person who has had bariatric sleeve surgery, I am not able to finish an adult meal so I wanted to order off the kids meal, however the waitress stated per restaurant policy, I was unable to order off the kids menu. I attempted to show a card I received to show I was able to order off the kid's menu but the waitress would not budge. She continually argued with me about it. I was not impressed with her lack of meeting my need.
Very pleasant waitress & food was very good. Will definitely be going to Randy's again!
New to the area in Scottsdale. Someone recommended Randy's. My wife and I stop by and had a great meal. Like the cooking so much we came back the next day again. Going to try some pie and ice cream on the next visit. Western burger was great berry filling and delicious flavor. Jeff from Scottsdale golf carts.
My son and I just moved to the neighborhood and stopped in after bicycling the green belt. This place must be a local spot that has been around forever. Lots of older generation people. Food is diner quality. It was ok, my son enjoyed his milkshake. However, they only take cash or check. When the lady told me, I laughed because I thought she was joking. She was not and I turned around to see an ATM machine. Ummm. It's 2021 ya know. Anyways, that was the biggest turn off so probably won't go back. I'm a digital gal. It's like I stepped back in time to the 90s.
