Update: Pepper avoided a rattlesnake last week off leash and it has been FOUR years since Cody trained her.

Amazing on the steps taken by Cody to ensure my dog, Pepper, was aware of the danger imposed by rattlesnakes. Thank you

Absolutely excellent experience. Our trainer knew so much about the area, the snakes, hiking, and talked me and my husband through every aspect of the training with our dog. Our dog did so beautifully and he made sure to involve us in the training to make it more real. Seriously could not recommend them more! Feel so much better taking our dog on outdoor hikes now.

Perfectly done! Our Shiloh is 10 months old. Neighbors found a Mohave Green last week. After this training session we have peace. She wants nothing to do with snakes by sight, sound and smell.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Great guy, too.

Our dog completed this course in August, she has already saved us twice from potential rattle snake danger. She starts barking and will not go within 15-20 feet of the area but looks in the direction so we know where the snake is. I can’t recommend this course enough if you live where there are rattlesnakes. Saves us and her from danger!

Had a wonderful experience today! Such an impressive facility. They love the snakes and they are in service to help dogs and dog owners stay safe.what a brilliant company. So grateful for their knowledge and willingness to do what isn’t easy to do.

This is one excellent training facility to bring your dog for rattlesnake training. The owner, Cody runs a top notch snake zoo and training facility. The entire grounds, inside and out is in spectacular condition, pristine, clean and welcoming. His methods are professional yet friendly. I highly recommend the course.

My Henry did AWESOME in snake aversion training today! Rattlesnake Ready is the BEST! The training was great and Cody is very knowledgeable about snakes AND dogs! Great class. Snakes are impressive and obviously well cared for. Henry did not like them AT ALL when we were done. I highly recommend it! We can start hiking now!

I did the training about 5 months ago now with my dog after having moved down to Arizona. The trainers were great. I'll admit at first after leaving I was wondering if my pooch was more shell shocked by the shock collar or if she learned something from the training as during the final piece of training she wanted nothing to do with anything and basically froze in place.

Fast-forward to last night. Was out in the back yard letting the dog out before going to bed. It was at night, fairly windy, and some distance lightning and thunder with a storm blowing in so a lot of distractions going on. The pooch was sniffing around the edge of the property and all of a sudden came the loud rattle of a rattlesnake. She immediately jumped back and came barreling to me and the door inside.

I was shocked. I had hoped the training worked but it's pretty difficult to tell in the initial training and without running into a snake in the wild. And this wasn't a "being startled" by an unknown sound thing. She's a big, very forward dog. The sound of the rattle didn't phase her at all initially at the training.

I can say, unequivocally that the training works. You will probably be like me and wonder (as you drag your shell-shocked dog out of training) was it just the shock collar or was something actually learned. I can safely say with my dog, the training worked.

Amazing training. It simply doesn’t get any better. Now know our trail dog will avoid rattlesnakes on our runs. Super happy with results

Highly recommend! Our Husky loves chasing lizards, grasshoppers, bugs, bunnies, really anything that moves. At first he was interested in the small snake Cody starts with, but quickly he learned to stay away. Cody knows exactly when to use the shock collar and the appropriate level. With the sound and smell our dog knew not to get any closer with then next stage of training. We will be back and recommend anyone who goes hiking or might encounter rattlesnakes.

Highly recommend!

We live by mountains, and last year I almost lost my pup to a rattlesnake bite. So after that I signed us up for this training. It's effective, yesterday while hiking Athena smelled a rattler and would not walk by the bush it was under. I listened to her, and as someone else walked past we heard the rattle. Thank you!

Satisfied. Cody was great with my dog and it was incredible to watch how fast they learn. I am very confident if he ever sees hears or smells a rattlesnake, he will jump in the other direction quickly. Thanks so much… money well spent.

What a great facility! Cody was extremely informative and the training Oakley received to avoid snakes was impeccable. I was impressed by the approach taken.avoidance by sound, smell, and sight. Definitely worth every penny of prevention!

We were out on the trail today and came across this guy. Oakley usually travels 20 feet in front of me. I saw her veer off the trail in the direction of the snake and then immediately jumped away and made a large semi circle away from it. I knew immediately, by her behavior displayed during training, that she saw a snake. I wasn't quite sure where it was as it wasn't making a sound. I did not want to walk by it if it was close to the trail I was on. It took me a hot minute to spot it by looking at the direction she was looking. The training paid off big fold today as she is a dog who likes to go off trail after lizards. Thank you Cody!
