Red Lobster, Phoenix AZ

Going to Red Lobster used to be a nice treat. Last night at Red Lobster was not. Staff was great. The food not so much. I ordered the garlic shrimp scampi, walt's shrimp with broccoli n bake potatoe. Shrimp scampi was delicious, bake potato was ok. Walt's shrimp n broccoli tasted like frozen food.

Went late night to this location at around 8: 30pm and called prior arrival at 8 before starting to drive all the way out there as that is the one shown open until 9pm. However when I arrived I was added to the waitlist and sent a confirmation text stating I would be texted when my table was ready. I went to sit down and wait only to the manager walking up to me to letting me know there had been a mistake and where no longer able to sit me due to having too many people waiting for a table (there was no one else there). I proceeded to advise him I had called and asked if I could be added to the waitlist during the conversation originally placed at 8pm and the gal I spoke with said it wasn’t necessary that arriving at 8: 30 gave plenty of time before closing to still be able to get in, she also explained to me that they take people and seat them up until that time. I’ve never had an issue at any other location and have arrived 20-30 min before closing and have never been turned away especially after calling I hve been once told there’s many people waiting so it’s no guarantee you get in so basically wait at your own risk (which I would have been fine with that). The reason I called to that location in the 1st place was because everywhere else showed closing soon and that showed closing at 9 so I called to make sure it wasn’t a typo on maps! Anyways I’m mainly doing the review because I was disturbed to see another family just park and arrive (they parked next to me and I let them know they were no longer adding people to their waitlist) but they responded to me “well we’re gonna try doesn’t hurt right? , thanks for the info though” to which I replied your welcome! They went in and were seated almost as soon as they went in. I was trying to put my kiddo in car seat and did not see them come back out, so then my husband got upset and said I don’t get it I’m gonna go ask what happened and why want some answers and off he went to go ask why they just took them back there and seated and had seated them if they just arrived after us and we were signed in and confirmed as added to waitlist and he showed him the text we received that we would be added to waitlist prior after he had mentioned there was no more waiting to me also manager proceeded to say they were on the waitlist thank you. I’ve never seen this happen because like I previously mentioned every other locations have taken us late with no issues unless extremely busy and many are on wait but at least they let you know beforehand and not after you’ve been texted confirmation of being added to waitlist and have been waiting I probably will never visit this location again after this.

Can't beat the price to meet up with family and friends for a dinner gathering or meeting. With the build your own plate, you have a selection that will satisfy everyone.

Horrible experience. Took my kids their to enjoy a nice dinner. Restaurant was almost empty. Yet the food took 45 mins to an hour to come out. When food did arrive the food server brought to the wrong table, those guest informed server it was not their order. So the server went to another table and got rejected as well. After getting rejected twice he finally made his way to my table. I tried to refuse the order saying due to a possible COVID exposure from guest I do not know. I do not want the food. His response was he never put the food on their table. So I said it we still close to them within 6ft so the food could have gotten contaminated. He said we will have to Charge you for this food if you don’t want. I reluctantly accepted the food only because my kids were waiting more than 45 mins too eat. Again it was a horrible experience. I recommend anyone of sane mind do not visit this restaurant for any reason.

My waitress was awesome. Very friendly I just wish I could remember her name. I know she was a bobs burger fan. Lol. I like to go on Mondays because it's all you can eat shrimp! Update, my waitress was Katelyn. She is very friendly provides excellent service each time that I have gone there.

I gave three stars entirely for the food. The service was subpar. We waited and waited despite being told we were next on the wait list. The woman who took our drink order started walking away before we all ordered. I would only suggest this Red Lobster if you were picking up an order and not dining in. Despite all that we still left a good tip. The food alone was worth it.

-5 stars had to wait at least 5 minutes at the Hostess stand employees saw us standing there but pretended we were not there. And there two in my party and 3 people in the party in front of us. HORRIBLE Horrible service horrible nasty food every second we were there it got worse.

Awesome lunch.maple glazed chicken. Waitress was great, very pleasant, beautiful smile. Service exceptional. You want a good meal with excellent service. This is your spot

Had the trio but one type of had been left in the water too long, when I cracked it the water ran out and the meat was tasteless. Otherwise the meal and service was great as usual.

Our local red lobster is just like every other red lobster. We would not expect anything less. The items are consistent, and the service is attentive. When we went it was endless shrimp. Our server was on top of it and offered us many times for more shrimp. Clean resturant.

I haven't been to a Red Lobster in a few years and I was surprised at the quality of the food and great service we received! We will definitely be back!

Love seafood and definitely a good place to go considering there's not many real seafood places left and Arizona

I liked my waiter and the food was so good. I loved that it was empty. Lol thats just a bonus for me.

I did have a great time and I think the waitresses and the manager were so nice and very helpful and patience even we have 4 children they still loved serving us and they were so nice to them

Food was awesome atmospher was great.waiter was ok but one course at a time we got our main course right after salad so we had just started eating our salad and I had to hold my salad plate to finish eating it. Waiter should look to see if you are done with one course before they bring out the next. He was nice just to fast and it was lunch and a slow day. All in all great place to eat! I would go back.

I will give this 5 stars because it is usually very good. Last night was odd. We waited for a long time for our shrimp cocktail but then the rest of the food came so fast we couldn't fully enjoy our soup or salad. The food was top rate but was shoved at us a little too fast. Glad I only go for the seafood because I overheard the waitress tell a diner they wouldn't cook a steak medium rare. If I was told that I would get up and leave.

Pretty good place. My brothers and I always enjoyed the unlimited shrimp specials they used to have. Cheddar biscuits are the best!

Typical red lobster, sat. Nite 0500 this place is dead, waiter tells me beer specials for Mon.thru Fri. Then I inform him its sat.ordered the rock lobster tail which was good but it came out in less than 20 mins, if I want fast food ill go to McD's, its no wonder why they are probably going the same way as joes crab shack, too expensive and crappy service, you want good seafood go to texas and get yourself some pappadeaus, the best

Over priced, food not tasteful just as bland as it can be! I used to love having dinner at Red Lobster but don't plan on visiting again.

Well food was good but wanted more cheese biscuits but was waiting for them to come out fresh but by the time we got them we were done with food. I also went without a refill of my drink for my dinner when I was done I got one. Was not happy about the service. Sad and they were not that busy
