Residence Inn by Marriott Phoenix Airport

Always use this hotel before a flight out. For a minimal fee you can leave your car and they arrange your transportation to and from the airport.

This is my go to hotel when flying out of Phoenix airport. Room are clean and staff if friendly and attentive. They do not have a shuttle to the airport but they call you a free Lyft ride which is actually better.

Close to the airport, easy to find, easy to access: the Residence Inn had everything I needed and did not cost the earth. Sure, it may not be a 12 star location but it doesn't try to be and it fits all the criteria it sets for itself.

And the breakfast was an unexpected bonus!

The stay was great, we had a room with a pullout. Had to contact the front office for the bedding but good thing is… they remembered we had two toddlers and gave us two sets for no fighting over blankets. The included breakfast was 10/10! The kind smiles and greetings while having breakfast was nice too! The staff was attentive, kind and patient. Would for sure stay here again and recommend you pick this place too!

Stayed with a gal friend at this place for the first time. The lobby area and food service is immaculate. The staff was very courteous as well. Great room. Pool area very clean. You don't always see that these days. We'll be back.

We used for bridal shower. Not a fan. Receptionist gave us a very hard time. Conference room was nice. Reception person made it difficult.

Comfortable room. Staff is polite and helpful. Quick to fix mistakes. Clogged sink, bringing supplies that I needed and what not. No shuttle to the mall or airport. Complimentary Lyft to the airport, so that's kinda nice. THE major thing I didn't like: In order to get to my room, you have to go outside and AROUND to the entrance near my room. Very inconvenient and dangerous, if you get back at night. Thank God I had a ride back each time, so I was good. For that reason and THAT reason alone, I prob won't be back. Continental breakfast was good.

Convenient location to the airport is a big draw here. I gave three stars for service because we needed to go to the front desk twice for towels and bedding for the sofa bed. The people working there were all very friendly though. We were there during a heat wave and the room air conditioning couldn't quite keep up with the heat outside. The included breakfast buffet was very good as was the variety of offerings.
Front desk staff said the entire hotel is going to be renovated beginning in July of 2022, so the air conditioning situation may be addressed then.
Overall I found this to be a pleasant stay and if you want a reasonable price for a larger room and don't mind some small service issues I recommend giving it a try.

I was visiting the hotel, daily, for a week long event, which meant that I would likely not deal with staff. I'd just be in and out with no interaction. However, I was repeatedly being engaged by Daniela and Brissa. They immediately made me feel as if I had a reservation or as if I were personally spending money. It touched my heart because I rarely get this level of care and loving service from many hotels. I can now say that this isnt true anymore, as these two individuals breathed life into my perception of anticipated hospitality. Thank you to both of them!

Nice, convenient to PHX airport, newer Marriott property. Rooms are large. There are multiple buildings so be sure you get directions from front desk to room. The room door handles unlock by twisting up instead of down. This may cause consternation and confusion upon first attempts.

Good experience for one night. Close to the airport, rooms were bigger than expected and clean. The staff was very helpful, and overall things felt quiet. Nothing super fancy but pretty good in all the ways that count.

Excellent place to stay. Close to Freeway and the Airport. Staff is great, breakfast is great and the rooms are clean and cool. They disinfect the tables and counter area constantly.

Security was horrible I had some man with a key to my door come in he claimed he was from the office and had a female I stayed 3 days and didn't see him. I emailed the company about 3 times and have yet to hear from them.

If I could give a zero I would. Dirty disgusting depressing. Marriott was so disappointing didn't help me with my situation. Elite status for what? Awful!

Always a great stay at this residence inn! Very happy to hear it’s going to have renovations! Hope bringing Netflix and all to the tvs! And even better beds.

I am so impressed by the cleanliness of this hotel! I stayed to see friends I haven't seen in a long time and the location was perfect, like I said, very clean, friendly staff. Highly recommend!
