Went over for just a nice relaxing walk near the river. Trail was not bad, walking stick suggested. Just a short distance to the Verde river, and this is apparently a good place for those to load/ unload kayaks. There is a nice map provided for kayaking distances on the river right there. Today we just enjoyed the serenity, beauti, wildlife, nice breeze, and cool morning

We revisited this place last 3 weeks ago July 23. This was a beautiful place b4 but now the water was murky and lots of algae (maybe algae bloom and its seasonal?) We never swim nor take a dip, olso some path had dogs poo even there's a sign to pick your dogs poo! But still lots of people swim specially kids, theres a picnic area too and hotel/motel nearby.we never stay perhaps transfered to clear creek campground we're the water is clearer and enjoyable.

It is a steep walk down to the water about a half mile in. There was no seating or anything down there a bunch of bugs lol Just recommend for a day trip if you like a hike.

The park is very dog friendly, has a nice view of the lake where we walked around, and hiked a little. Was very relaxing. I just didn't like the porta-potty. Which is the bathroom.

Nice little spot. Lou Dog and I walked along the river. We could tell it flooded recently. Lots of downed trees and a downed barbwire fence that was mostly covered with debris and could be dangerous if you don’t watch where your walking.
We had fun

Nice little park next to the library. There is a walking path and access to the river.

Can almost feel the presence of the Old People. I was born 900 years too late.
