Worst customer service! If you want to get a hold of staff there to get any info on your family member GOOD LUCK! I had to call about 20 times and finally called from a different phone number so they would finally answer. Completely unacceptable. They kept transferring me to a full voicemail box where it would tell me to try again. But the first few times I called I was hung up on. What is up with that!? I would definitely not recommend this place.

I think the trainers, Cisco, mitch, lacy, and ALL the rest are excellent! Because of neuropathy and balance the hospital sent me here 3 different times. They were just as helpful and polite as the 1st time. Nursing and cna's are also awesome as is Lucy in case workers, who helps work thru any issues that come up. They all helped me make good progtess, may you have the same good fortune, I hope I don't have to go back a 4th time, but if I do the quality is there.

If I could I would leave no stars, my mother was there for about 7 days, it was so bad that we had to take her out ASAP, the food is horrible the nurses or care givers are rude and very uncaring, her midications were not given timely, my mom had to endure lots of paid due to this her wound care staff did not change her bandages or care for her wound as ordeded by her doctor, she was denied a blanket because she so called did not need it.also she wad threatned if she left the insurance would not pay the bill, her therapy personel tried to force her to therapy after mom told them she was in so much pain they responded well if you dont do therapy we wont get paid, that is so unthoughtful for the elderly, also her bed was never changed after asking them to change they still do not do it, so much more things to say, but we finally made the correct decision to pull my mom from this facility I do not recommend this place to anyone who loves their loved on. Very bad place its sad they call it rehabilitation.

My sister was here after a hospital stay for a hip replacement; then a femur break. What a dump this place is! Patients moaning for help. I wonder if anybody at all works there on a holiday? She had to return to the hospital because nobody knew how to adjust her wound vac and she was full of infection because of this! Don't leave leave your loved one here; it's a horrible place.

They definitely need to get a whole new team of workers who actually care about the patients! I would not recommend using this place! It's dirty. The food is horrible. The nurses are the worst! My friend waited for help for hours! This is supposed to be a place that encourages healing, but the way they neglect has only seemed to discourage my friend. I'm hoping she will be able to transfer to a different facility!

I have been here for @' 4 days now. I have no choice of what they call food. No one has talked to me about my preferences.
I am told when someone ventures in they will be right back, maybe I will see someone in @ 45 minutes or more

Very short staffed very little rehab done and very crowded in the gym area. Not enough nurses or staff CNAs to provide care for the patients Would not recommend this facility.

Do not put your loved one here!
First off, the staff are doing the best they can with the staffing shortage. The problems are not ones they create, but the admistrations. The room was clean, but didn't have proper ventilation. There was a wall air-conditioner, but it was in such disrepair that the noise level was unacceptable. I took in a fan to at least move the air. If the patient needs to use the restroom, the wait time for assistance is lengthy. Often the food is terrible. I took my friend home rather than leave her here at their mercy.

The hospital transferred my grandpa here. I toured and seemed ok at first. They have NO DINING AREA for families and patients we are expected to visit with them in their room with no privacy. The rooms are not ventilated, the hallways smell like death. I see so many patients complaining and crying about not being changed. My tata was only there for a couple of weeks. My family tried to get DON or administrator to talk to my family. But one of their nurses told me they are flakes and FAKES.so i didn’t bother, thankfully he made it home safe

I am a COTA that has been working here for 3 years. I love the team I work with and everyone willing to help each other. The gym here is awesome and fun environment to perform services for the patients. It's a great place to increase your skills and performance in everyday activities.

I have been working for Rio Vita Post Acute for nearly 2 years now, and absolutely love the staff and teamwork between departments and all employees. The collaboration between nursing, therapy, housekeeping and all departments is well noticed, providing optimal care for all residents and patients with compassion and care. I would recommend Rio Vista to future employees and anyone in need of care for themselves or loved ones.

I'm an Occupational Therapy student and I have my second level 2 fieldwork at Rio. I have learned so much from the entire therapy team, the staff is all wonderful and the patients are amazing to work with. I'm beyond grateful to have the opportunity to work with the amazing therapy team of this facility and be able to extend my knowledge and become the best occupational therapist I can be.

I was an occupational therapy assistant student at this location & I am now a fulltime employee. All staff is so welcoming & made me feel at home, since this is now my 2nd home. My therapy department is great & is very helpful when it comes to answering my questions as a new therapist. I love it here & plan to be here for awhile!

My name is Marius Nowak I just suffered multiple fractures and two compound fractures below my knees on both sides from a cliff jumping accident. Even more recent was my discharged from Rio Vista as I called it home for 4 months roughly after my accident. It has got to be the best facility to attend for recovery. It was clean smelled good, good food. I had a great regular CNA and Rn, Tasha and Emily for my comfort and daily assistance. All the staff was welcoming and down to Earth. Plenty of of activities from cards to bingo to ice cream Friday's. Michelle Starla and Juana were always friendly plus super down to her earth running activities. By far though my 2 favorite and appreciated people that significantly advanced my recovery were Lacy Occupational Therapy Specialist and Francisco Physical Therapy Special they were a epic tema, essential in my recovery. I'm back on my feet not full hundred percent functional yet but I'm back on my feet 100% no wheelchair. I can't forget francisco's intern Eia"sry if I misspelled that" whom I worked with a lot PT towards the second tail end of my recovery. Rio Vista Post Acute Staff / Family I am in debt to your service and your dedication to bettering my world as well the world of many. Even the maintenance staff were friendly and funny. Thank You all sincerely Marius Allan Nowak

Poorly managed and unorganized facility. DO NOT leave your loved ones here. Management will hide the facts of neglect, abuse just to hide the fact they are in the wrong. Definitely not a shrug your shoulder type of thing. Unprofessionalism, definitely at its finest here! And then they move on with with their day. Not a care in the world for others. They make fun of employees and patients out in the open. Instead of doing this behind closed doors. It’s sad, I feel bad for any patient and employee who has to reside or be employed here.
