2The Pastor is an awesome man of God. Come and you will be blessed. Great sermon, great choir, loving people.
As a Black man, leading a family consisting of my wife and daughters, I really wanted a church that could embrace our culture and empower our journey with Christ. However, this church ain’t it! ONLY COME HERE if you enjoy non-biblically based, political rhetoric, racially divisive, hate speech.
As an example, today he told a joke about the Titanic that since the bathrooms and kitchen has “WHITES ONLY” signs, that the Blacks should’ve prayed to Jesus that the drowning deaths would be “WHITES ONLY! ”
That is so disgusting! So each of you must make your own decisions and attend if you want, but my family and I will not stand by and allow Jesus to be mocked by Pastor Amos Lewis and Rising Star Baptist Church any longer.
