Rita Ranch Automotive & Tire reviews
15 This is a shop you can trust! Had 4 roters put on our 2013 Pathfinder a few months ago. Front roters were acting up and brought it in for a look. Roters were replaced under warranty with no questions asked! Thanks Chris and crew for the quick service. You can't go wrong with this shop!
Thanks,
Robert & Cindy Bentley

Crazy. I brought my own parts and got charged 600 dollars for a 2 hour job. Then got a call saying they were going to need to add more labor time
They won't let you schedule an oil change here. I explained on the phone that I would need to arrive at 4. I was told on the phone that this is fine, and I may have to wait for an hour when I arrive.
When I arrived at the shop they told me they didn't have time to help, and that 4 is way to late to show up for an oil change.
This poor experience could have been prevented either by scheduling the oil change, or telling me that 4pm is not a good time. Neither of these things happened.
Huge waste of time. I'm a fleet manager looking for reputable shops in the area. We have 132 vehicles in the fleet I manage. If anybody else is interested in a loyal partnership.
They are an excellent car service center, and they give back to the community by donating to the local school system. Anything you need in mechanical repair, they can do it.
Went in for oil change and they overinflated my tire pressure. Called in and got nothing but excuses. Person that answered said “air is 78% nitrogen”, that helps me little. I had pure nitrogen and now it is mixed. Had he checked the pressures and set to the door sticker, he would not have needed to add pressure nor would he have contaminated the air. So now I have to make another appointment to resolve this.
Update:
During my visit, one of the reasons I had to wait so long was that the technician was resetting the service reminder. Discovered it was not.
Went in for my 370z that I needed to have my alignment and suspension set up fixed. They got my car in and really got it perfect for both looks and how it drives. Wish I went there in the first place for my alignment and tires but now I know who to keep going back to.
I've been going here since I moved to Tucson 4 yrs ago. Today I went in to get an oil change and I asked George if someone could look at my front tires. I was told by another well know place (when getting tire pressure checked) that the front tires needed replaced soon. I had made an appt at another place to have 2 new tires put on, actually the appt was for later on today. George came back inside, said my tires are good and still have a lot of miles on them. He suggested they be rotated and I said sure. All the guys at RR Auto are Friendly, super nice and so knowledgeable! I'll never go anywhere else!
Rita Ranch Automotive is one of my most trusted when it comes to mounting wheels and tires. I have brought several expensive wheel sets to them over the years and would not hesitate to continue having them do the mounting and balancing every time. They were also very helpful with loading and unloading the wheels and tires from my vehicle with care (I just recently got out of the hospital) to make sure my vehicle doesn’t get damaged. They are all awesome! They also mounted tires on my $12k set of Vossen forged custom built wheels for my Model X P100D flawlessly.
Update 8/15/23: I just had them swap over Tesla TPMS sensors from my Model Y Performance stock wheels onto the new forged set with no problems and they beat Discount Tire and Big O Tire’s cost.
DO NOT get your oil changed here. They charged me $100 to get mine done on a sedan and I called the local auto center at Walmart afterwards and they gave me a quoted price of $50.
Their price was steep on a break pad replacement. Quoted 500.00 for front brake pad replacement. Found someone that did it for 150.00.
HUGE shoutout to Terry (the owner) and his crew! I have a relatively new car, so I haven't needed Terry's service for a while, but as I was on the interstate, the skid plate under my car came unbolted on one side causing such awful noise that I thought I had blown a tire. I drove directly to his shop. His crew secured the skid plate at no charge! If anything, I should have been charged for their labor. I brought in a pizza lunch for the crew the next day.they are a hardworking bunch! If you are looking for an honest, reputable repair shop, look no further! Terry also donates a portion of all oil changes to schools within the Vail School District. As a teacher in the district, I appreciate that!
Always recommend!
We have been taking our cars here for almost 7 years. With no appointments, I’ve made sure to drop the car or be in line when they open and our cars are always treated with the best care and finished in a a reasonable amount of time, or lightning fast. They keep excellent records of the service they’ve done on the cars and are so thoughtful when suggesting repairs. Never pushy, and always honest in their handling of things. It’s going to be hard moving away and trusting someone else with our vehicles!
Had a broken valve spring in my 2010 Ford Ranger. They got it in right away, diagnosed and fixed the problem within a few days all at a reasonable price.
I have taken my old truck to Rita, Ranch, automotive on two occasions. Both times they have found the problems and corrected them. They have some awesome mechanics. I mean real mechanics. Oh, I cannot complain about the price of repairs because it involves a lot of work, A lot of knowledge, a lot of tools and a lot of equipment that people don’t have to do things like this themselves.
Two thumbs up, thank you guys.

Was charged for 2 1/2 hours of labor for a 1 1/2 job waited for 7 and a 1/2 hours for the part to show up.wouldn't recommend to my enemy. Only reason they are getting 2 stars is the job was done and they gave me a discount for my wait. So if money and time are no object to you then this is your place!
