3Views are beautiful leading up to the campsite! Sites were somewhat clean. Previous campers left some trash in the fire pit and pet food on the ground. Not sure how these sites are policed by park rangers. The site next to ours had a smoking log in the pit (again, previous campers), even though there was a fire ban. Not sure how family friendly it is. We stayed 1 night
As always I had another great experience there. There was a "rookie" group of young adults I had the pleasure of meeting on this trip. I probably should have waited to share the fun of the scorpion light until they had a few more trips in em. Sorry ya'll had to leave so soon. Oops! I tried to warn ya that all that loud racket was going to attract a party of rowdy guests, you know the ones, the locals that live there. I just couldn't figure out why they weren't getting along
Mt first impression was how clean it looked. They had restrooms and trash cans. We found a spot that was a decent size clearing to fish. We were unlucky and didn't catch anything, but it was so peaceful. Would definitely go again.
