Riviera Opticare Scottsdale is fantastic. I've gone there for 10-15 years. The doctors are amazing and so is the office staff.

Great selection of glasses. The employees are helpful and patient. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Scottsdale location. On their website under "What Makes Us Stand Out? " they say they take pride making clients feel relaxed and listening keenly to their patients and what they desire and that customers are guaranteed overall excellent products and services at every visit. I have had 3 eye exams there is the last year and half and purchased 3 pairs of glasses. Dr. McCutcheon was awesome on the eye exam side including her staff. The optical side leaves much to be desired. Their markup prices are outrageous and they nickel and dime you for EVERY little thing. I went in today to pick up my computer glasses after waiting one full month since my eye exam. I paid $1K+ and was adamantly denied small bottle of lens cleaner by Adrian, optical mgr unless I paid her $3. I'm a senior, I've had many exams in my career and always received a small courtesy lens cleaner with new purchase of glasses. Adrian, the Optical Mgr.went back and forth with me 3 times arguing if I want it I will have to pay for it or I can just use water! I told her I had no desire to argue over a bottle of lens cleaner and based on her behavior I would not be returning. It was a dealbreaker for me after spending with insurance combined over $3k there in last year and half. If they would treat a good paying customer this way, they obviously do not value my business. I spent more on the optical side then the eye exam side. They have not lived up to their claim on their website of what makes them stand out. I still work and make 6 figures a year. It's the principle. I've spent cumulatively with insurance combined over $3k for glasses and you can't courtesy me a small bottle of lens cleaner but want $3 more and tell me to otherwise use water? Seriously? I will see Dr. McCutcheon again but will get my script filled elsewhere down the road. I certainly did not leave there today feeling relaxed nor did I find Adrian's customer service acceptable. I found her to be harsh and unflexible!

Very nice store first of all. People were very nice in the store as I shopped for prescription sunglasses. Their quality control goes above and beyond. When they received my Maui Jim glasses they noticed a scratch in the frame and sent them back after calling me to confirm I wanted that done. There was quick turnaround on a replacement. I also came back for a glasses adjustment on one of my other frames which they did in kind fashion. My eye checkup was great as well. Definitely will come again.

I have been a patient of Dr Reckell’s for 25 years and the service is always excellent. This month was no exception as I received a new pair of glasses ahead of schedule which will help tremendously until the cataract surgeries. Thank you Dr Reckell and staff!

I just love this office! The staff is so friendly and they are great about answering my many questions. I recently went in to ask about contacts and the Dr Keding was happy to answer all my questions. The staff member was also incredibly patient with me as I learned how to put contacts in and take them out.
I highly recommend!

Awesome care and service! I never feel like I am a "number" here, and all of the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Dr. Reckell is outstanding - I switched to her after years at another big box optical department, and the difference is amazing. I'll never go anywhere else!

This is the best Optometry office I’ve ever visited. Excellent services from the exams to choosing glasses and great billing explanations. The office is very nice and well maintained.

HUGE shouts to Colleen. She was just as excited to find me the right glasses as I was. She took me around the shop and gave me so many options even though we both knew we found the ray ban winners at the beginning. Incredible lady thank you Colleen I had a lot of fun.

Super stoked on my glasses can’t wait til they are ready to pick up.

Dr Reckell is friendly and very professional. She takes the time to explain the process and outcomes. Her staff is warm and welcoming. They also take measures to maintain a safe environment.

Very professional the doctor fantastic. Picking on frames and trying glasses.lot of fun. Very good Covid protocols they take your temperature you come in with an appointment they are very careful about how many people are in the store everything is sanitized very comfortable place to shop and I found some beautiful Prada frames!
