Roadrunner Lock & Safe, Tucson AZ

Needed to have a key cut, and preferred to go to a shop instead of paying for a mobile service. Roadrunner is the ONLY locksmith in the area (among about a dozen of mobile services). As we know, locksmiths do a better job of calibrating their cutters, in contrast to Ace Hardware or Loews. So, if you want a key that actually WORKS, go to Roadrunner. FWIW. I was in and out in less than 5 mins. I'd DEFINITELY go there again to have a key cut.

Awesome service and friendly people. They fixed my Medeco lock while I waited after two other locksmiths wouldn't even look at it.

I needed a key made for an older snugtop camper shell. I called several other places and they said I needed to purchase a whole new lock set with keys. Roadrunner said to come in down and they'll see what they can do, so I did and they were able to cut me a couple new keys no problem saving me time and money. Most advanced locksmith I know. Scott has always been ahead of the others, beginning years ago. They have experienced locksmiths and are advancing in other security technologies for some time now. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

After reading the response to my review, I have lowered my review. Their response indicated that no job is too small for them. The actual fact of the matter is that the key I took to be replaced HAD the lock information on it (contrary to their response). In the past, they were able to investigate those numbers, identify the correct key needed and cheerfully produce a functioning key. What they provided me, was a generic inferior key, and an apathetic customer experience. Their review response was more of an ADVERTISEMENT for themselves and a reductive expression of my needs and experience. Though quite 'corporate' in their actions, they lacked the decades long opinion I've held of their neighborly service. I'd HIGHLY recommend for expensive, professional SAFE transactions, but cannot in good faith recommend them for simple service. It was quite a disappointment to read their response to my previous review, I found it quite marginalizing.

They helped me move a safe. They called ahead to give me a more accurate arrival time. They were attentive not to damage anything. They were personable and friendly. They took the extra time to shim it at the new location and if I had any issues with it getting wobbly they'd come back out to fix it. They took the time to tell me about the other services they offer so definitely will consider them in the future for security needs.

The technician that was assigned to come to my home called to let me know the status of his arrival early in the day. This was great so I was not sitting around waiting for him. Once herehe was courteous, efficient and got the job done quickly.

Expert key cutting here. Helped me out of a pinch by duplicating a key none of the hardware stores would touch.
