Rodeway Inn at Lake Powell, Page AZ

Worst experience ever! The dust on the AC filter was not cleaned for months and I'm not joking, I never saw that much dust in one place, dirty room! Towels dirty and with holes in them, toilet without a cover, shower curtain dirty. When I tried to speak to the frontdesk about all this, they said that we can leave if we don't like it! When I was showing them the disgusting towel, one of the employees only words that he was telling me were "Bye, Bye! " and wave ing to me to leave the property. Extremely disrespectful! And because I booked the room with a 3rd part they didn't want to give me a refund either. DON'T RECOMMEND!

Room was cleanish but with carpet. The check-in went smoothly. We asked for a room on the lower floor but apparently they were fully booked. We got up at 5am that‘s why we would have preferred a lower floor room as we maybe woke someone. It is right next to a main road, therefore extremely loud almost all night. Unfortunately we could take breakfast here as we went too early and breakfast does not start until 6: 30 or 7 but to be fair it did not look very appealing as the waffle maker and everything stood right next to the reception and did not look very clean. Right next to the Inn there are some shopping possibilities. We payed 95$ which is definitely too much for what we got. The pictures looked very nice but in reality it did not look good.

Definitely choose something different. The room had a moldy smell. I will admit there was no blood on the sheets carpet or a shower curtain that I could see. Period but this ready for demolition hotel is the bomb. Meaning it was horrible. On top of that they had the nerve to raise their prices to over $300 for a holiday weekend. With that you were not entitled to a fresh set of towels, maid service, or ice. I would say it competes well with your $39 short stay hotels.

The location is good but the parking is limited. The tub had mold around the edges, the towels were dingy plus thread bare. The TV didn't work. The breakfast options were very limited.

Wouldn’t recommend. Stayed two nights. Our room smelled like cigarettes, even though it was a smoke free room. Arrived around 9pm and the area appeared to be pretty sketchy. People stumbling around the parking lot, people running through the parking lot to get to/from the gas station across the street. Room was dingy and stuffy. Cigarette burn marks on the bedding. Shower temperature changed frequently while showering. Water soaked through the shower curtain and made a puddle each shower, regardless of moving it away from the opening. Location was the only positive. Close to Lake Powell, Slot Canyon, and hiking.

Front desk lady was so nice and accommodating. The rooms were clean and safe, but the TV didn't work and didn't have a remote, the bath had no way to plug it, and there was some mold and chipping paint all over. Not a terrible place but don't expect high end!

A Disappointing Experience

During our stay at Rodeway Inn in Page, we unfortunately had a disappointing experience that leads us to give this establishment only two stars out of five.

From the moment we entered the room, we immediately noticed a strong smell of smoke that permeated the entire space. This element certainly had a negative impact on our stay, making it difficult to enjoy a clean and fresh atmosphere.

Furthermore, we were dismayed to discover that the hairdryer was missing from the room. When we tried to request one at the reception, we were informed that they had run out. This is an unacceptable inconvenience for a hotel that is expected to provide essential amenities to its guests.

The cleanliness of the room left much to be desired in certain areas, with evident traces of dirt, and even more concerning, the toilet showed signs of rust. This overall neglected state of the environment left us with an impression of poor hygiene and care from the staff.

Lastly, the breakfast offered in the reception hall proved to be quite limited, with only bread, a waffle machine, and coffee available. This limited selection and the absence of other options further contributed to the overall dissatisfaction of our experience.

In conclusion, Rodeway Inn Page has shown to be below expectations. The lack of cleanliness and care, combined with subpar service, made our stay an unpleasant experience. We would recommend seeking more satisfying alternatives

Attention, not like in the pictures.

Room dirty, bed bugs in bed, air conditioner stinks, bathroom moldy. We stayed somewhere else but manager won't refund money.

No ice provided by motel.
Breakfast is only bread, waffles and cereal.
Mold in tub area. Front desk staff not very pleasant.

This is by far the worst place I had to set my foot in regarding cleanliness and staff. The staff was beyond rude and disrespectful and the room was filthy. The towels were black, holes in them, dirty with stains. The shower curtain had god knows what on it and this is just the begining. I went to ask the staff at the front desk if it would be possible to get a refund and the lady at front desk took my room leys and proceeded to go towards my room without my permission. She refused to gove me the keys back and told me I have 15 minutes to leave. At 10 PM. Not one single human being in that placed wanted to talk to me regarding anything, and I am not the person to be rude! A guy waited in front of my room with a flashlight and shooed me away with a disgusting hand gesture. I would like to get my money back for the services that I paid but I did not receive. I would definetly not recomment this place!
