I decided to try today as we all need to learn a new craft. I was happy I did. I had new student (Diana) and she was so good. She did a very nice cut. Was friendly. And will have a great career. For those looking to help those, try it. I will be a regular!

Why stop at 5 stars? My experience with Sierra, who listened carefully and then gave me a cut that, even 3 weeks later, makes me smile every time I see myself in the mirror speaks for itself. I had possibly the best time at any salon, ever. Happiness is contagious. The students here are well-taught professionals in every way, and their confidence and expertise speaks worlds about their instructors. Very impressed with Candice, and her skillful ambassadorship. She has the knack of extending a warm reception, whether in person or on the phone. Come see for yourself what you've been missing. Enjoy!

I go to the academy at least once a week. I appreciate the staff and the students. Every time I walk out of there I feel so beautiful and happy with what I got done. I just wanted to let you guys know that you're doing a wonderful job and I appreciate every single one of you

I never write reviews, but I did want to share my experience so others done face the same fate. I went in there a 6 months ago to get my hair done by a student I went to high school with. She did AMAZING, and it was cheap. So I decided to go again to bring my natural root color down. Different student since the girl I knew graduated. They absolutely DESTROYED my hair. I didn't say a word, didn't have to. My hair dresser was crying by the time we were done because of how awful it was. She managed (with the instructors ok) to make my bleached blonde hair almost black. I do not blame the hairdresser, everyones hair is different and she is learning. However the instructors all gave her the green light, came up and said it looked fine until the very end when she was bursting out in tears and said something to them. They played it off and said it will wash out in a couple days. It didn't even change in the slightest after two weeks. They let me come in to get it fixed for free (shouldn't have charged me at all for either appointments and I even left a tip because I felt bad both times) and ended up making it worse. Both times they acted like it looked great and I just got the best hair color ever. Take a look at the pictures of what my hair looked like before, what I asked for, and what I got. I'll let you decide. Again, I'm not upset with anyone. The instructors are wonderfully nice people as well as the students. I also understand it is a school, but they were going to charge me over $100 for this disaster. I expect the students to make mistakes, but I also expect the instructors to know what they are doing and offer complete support in the fixing process. Instead, I called and they forgot who I was, put me with a new student and instructor who had no idea about the situation, and the original instructor never came up to me to check up or to inform the new student on what happened. I had to tell them! I recommend going here if you want bleached blonde hair, THAT'S IT.

I had a great experience today at the academy. Faith was my stylist and listened to my needs. At the end of the appointment, I had a great color and cut. Super grateful for owner Sheri to come over and say hi. I told my daughter about the positive experience and hopefully she will be booking within the near future.

Got a perm done and it turned out exactly how I wanted. The student did an amazing job, was kind and answered all my questions. Instructors were checking in consistently. Everyone was really friendly and made the process painless.

Got my daughter’s, my mom’s, and my hair braided by Brisa and Maddie. They did a wonderful job. Rosemary oversaw the stylists also. Everyone was professional and friendly, with an incredible price. Wish I could give more stars!

Roger's provides great service at a great price. The students are both professional and friendly. They have a wonderful menu of services and I love getting my facials and pedicures done here.

Decided to try this place after reading the 5 Star Reviews. What? Maybe nobody had their nails done. Took my daughter for a Gel Manicure, I had a pedicure. Daughter was told they couldn't do gel because they soaked her fingers, so she went with red. My gal did not seem to have any idea how to do ingrown toenails, so she didn't. Cut in a curve to leave it in. I cancelled the manicure. There was no supervision. No instructor came to check progress. Complete waste of time and money. I still need a pedicure. You absolutely must see the photo's I posted on Yelp.
Update: The owner called and offered to redo the service. She seemed pretty appalled at what happened. Have to give her credit for wanting to make it right.

The hair cut I received is worth more than I spent on it. The facility is clean and well ventilated. Definitely a positive experience.

The students are friendly and knowledgeable as are the instructors. 9 times out of 10 I’m able to get a same day appointment which is awesome. Everyone is so happy and upbeat. To top it off the prices are great.
