Ross Outdoors Archery & Hunting Pro Shop, Phoenix AZ

Don't order any Prime parts from Ross Outdoors. I called and ordered two cams for my bow and they said it would take 1-2 weeks to get them in. I called them after 3 weeks and they didn't have the cams or an update. I continued to call once a week to check in and not only did they not have the cams, they also didn't have any updates and wouldn't reach out to Prime. And every time I called they got more irritated even though I was only checking in once a week. I placed the order 6 months ago and still haven't heard anything.

I'm a 51 yr old man that just got his first bow. I had another shop set it up. Over the weekend, only the 2nd time I shot it, I derailed it (thought I dry fired somehow, even though I had an arrow on). Told Grady how many youtube videos I watched trying to figure out what the heck I did wrong. Long story short, he listened, appeared to actually care, looked at my bow, and explained what he believed happened. Absolutely great service. Couldn't ask for more or anything different.

Liam helped me out getting a new D loop tied in and picking out a new stabilizer. Great guy and hell of a shop. Will be going here from now on versus some other “pro shops” in Arizona.

7/25/23 had another great experience at Ross outdoors. Grady set me up with a new drop away rest. He had it on ready to go and dialed in just a few minutes all while helping other customers. Fantastic shop run by some solid guys. I won’t take my business anywhere else.

Liam helped me get set up with a brand new bow. He is super knowledgeable and helped point me in the right direction.

I patronize the store in the past, it's been awhile last time was when they were on 59th van Buren, mostly because I never found out where they moved to and my interest changed and not getting drawn for hunting in awhile, found a killer deal on a bear Kodiak recurve for 5.00 no string, so I got out the old recurves wanted to replace the strings on 45 #and 50# pounders, they did not have any, for an archery shop and the cost of recurve strings 10.00 to 15.00 retail, not much for inventory, compared to other things in store that are probably slow movers compared to strings, went to another local archery shop bought 3 sets and nocks and fletching glue, funny thing is they sell recurve bows, to keep it on the positive side I'm glad to find the store, and will go back when upgrading my compound bows and equipment

Ross outdoors is the only place I will shop for bow equipment again. Grady was the most helpful associate I have experienced and was very knowledgeable. Would recommend this place to anyone who asked.

Bryson set me up with a whole new kit for this fall (bow with custom strings, arrows, case, target, everything) and I couldn’t be happier. They even set me up a bitzenburger exactly how they built my arrows since i don’t live super close to the store! Super clean bow shop with anything you could want for your bow or hunting season. The whole staff was super friendly and always available for questions and support. I grew up around a small-time bow shop and Ross Outdoors is exactly what you love to see out of the industry. Customer for life.

Just needed a peep sight installed and the guys there are awesome. Got the peep installed and bought a quiver for my Mathew’s bow. More than I wanted to spend on a quiver not that they were over priced as the company. It’s a Mathew’s enough said but they are worth paying a little more for the product and support they give

This place is awesome! If you’re looking for a shop that carries great gear and some 80# limbs this is your place. Everyone there was great. Richard gave me a hand with everything and got me set up with my new bow and took care of my old one well. He helped make sure the bow was setup and fit me perfectly and took the time to make sure I was happy when I left. Will definitely be a returning customer

Had a great experience at Ross Outdoors. Just getting back into archery after a 3 year hiatus and they took care of me like I was family. From the minute I got in I was catered to and felt like I was right at home. Tristin was the bow tech who helped me out and he was awesome. Coming in I wanted to get caught up and had a ton of questions. He was very patient with me and got me back up to speed. All of my questions and concerns were answered. A few weeks ago I decided to buy my first compound bow. I visted a larger retailer and had an overall awful experience. That experience almost put me off from bow hunting but I decided to visit Ross Outdoors as I had been referred to the shop by my brother who had heard nothing but good things about the staff. My experience was night and day difference compared with my previous experience with the larger retailer. Tristan did an amazing job setting up the bow for me and was extremely patient while teaching me to shoot. He was meticulous in making sure the bow fit me perfectly. I never once felt that he was trying to upsell me on anything I didn't need. The worst part for me is that I live in the far east valley and have to drive an hour to the shop. I wouldn't mind having a Ross Outdoors a little closer!

I had a great experience with Ross outdoors. I got drawn this year for an archery hunt and I have not hunted archery in a while and never had a bow build, so I had MANY questions when getting a new bow. I first went in to the shop on a Tuesday and Tristin greeted me and answered any questions I had about which bow I wanted and anything involving the build of a new bow. I then left that day to think through the process and checked out a couple other shops in the valley. I ended up going back to Ross to build my bow because I found it to be the best shop due to the great shop/selection they have and very helpful staff. When I went back on Friday, Tristin worked with me again through the many questions I had during the build process and got me set all up. I will definitely be back for any other Archery needs.

This place is legit! I had an awesome experience there, test shooting bows and eventually bought one. Trystan and Bryson were super helpful and knowledgeable! Definitely recommend this place for all your bow needs!
