Rott n' Grapes / The Greedy Hamster reviews
18I attended a speed dating event here which was really fun. The bar however left something to be desired. They didn’t have a single nonalcoholic option so I got a Sprite. The bartender literally handed me the can and charged me $3.50. I asked if she could put it in a glass for me with a lime and she said they don’t have limes and gave me a water cup.
Great service! The staff here is just amazing! I found this place just driving by and decided to stop for a glass of wine, best decision ever! Will definitely be stopping by more often!
Was served a totally burnt pepperoni pizza. Every slice was burnt and the outside was burnt. Never made me a new one and was charged. Poor customer service totally.
I love this place but I love the owners more. They are just salt of the earth sort of folks! I had a great wine which Patty, one of the owners is awesome at picking if you tell her what you like… they have a huge selection. It went well with my pepperoni pizza with arugula which I shared with another patron… too much to eat alone:). The crowd there is friendly and feels like Cheers even if it’s not your neighborhood. Always enjoy myself when I get a chance to drop in. Great place to hang out or just have a glass of wine or beer and get on with your evening. Definitely a stop you must make if you live in the valley and enjoy good drink, atmosphere and company!
The owner and his staff hosted us as a private party for my son’s baptism reception. They kept a full bar open and had tons of wonderful food ready for us. The staff, food quality and alcohol variety was top notch! They cut our cake for us, let us take leftovers and we’re so polite! I planned this from the East coast before ever stepping foot in the establishment and I can honestly say it exceeded all expectations. Highly recommend! Thank you!
Quaffable Wine selection. Pinot Noir, Malbec & Zinfandel. Central roll through. Great service.
Great place. Very unique and wonderful wines. Food is also very good. Parking is a big challenge.
Stumbled upon Rott'n'Grapes by chance, and was pleasantly surprised at the excellent selection of craft beers in addition to their extensive wine offering. The service was excellent and I would recommend it as a stop for anyone visiting Phoenix.
Finally decided to stop by Rott n’ Grapes for the first time after hearing great reviews of the place and it is such a wonderful little spot. They do bar trivia every Tuesday and if you participate you get 15% off your tab, in addition to other recurring events like a Beer Club and wine tastings. The community here is very tight knit and so so kind. One of the owners, Keith, spent a lot of time socializing with our group and talking about all the things they’re planning. You can tell everyone who works here is passionate about what they do and they sure are amazing at it. If you’re looking for an amazing beer/wine selection and a great group of people to share it with, look no further. I’d give 10/5 stars if I could! Thanks, Keith!
Not a big place, and that's ok. That kind of big isn't their thing. Here, I felt big.love. This place simply really cares. It's like having a drink with a friend in their patio homes backyard. It's a neighborhood cozy cool place, very doggie friendly, they know their wine, unpretentious. Good people's pit stop.
Fantastic cozy spot for delicious small bites and great beer and wine selection. Bruschetta boards were great. Super impressed with the daily specials they run too. Will be returning for more. Loved the vibe and service:)
Great food and a cool selection of wines. If you like red blends I recommend sensual chocolate. They have a very cool place for meetings. Parking is limited
Good beer selection, but the pizzas have got to be the worst. They taste like they come out of a box, thin, mostly crust.
Great welcoming neighborhood spot. They have an extensive wine list and just as many beers. Great place to day drink. Best part, dogs are super welcomed.
The bartenders are absolutely wonderful. They give spectacular recommendations and provide good conversations. Each wine I've had here has been on point and their daily deals are amazing. I've had their chicken mozzarella pesto panini which was very delicious. I've also had their pizza and wine deal and their white pizza is sooooo delicious. I highly recommend this place and will probably become a regular. Love it!
Great bartender in Angie to recommend a wine or flight. We each sampled a flight and enjoyed the company. Check it out.
Great little wine bar with an excellent beer selection. My partner is a big fan of IPAs and their list of IPA options is lengthy! I also picked them out because they have a cheese board option without meat and as a vegetarian I have a hard time finding a good cheeseboard for two that doesn't have meat on it. We also tried the vegetarian bruschetta options and we're not disappointed with the fresh ingredients and the quality bread. These are larger than we expected, so take care. We ordered 4 pieces and would have been happy with two. Our bartender was friendly and fun. The atmosphere was filled with happy customers and we enjoyed our visit. Would definitely go again.
What a hidden gem! I hinestly had no clue this spot existed, but the menu is pretty diverse with wine and beer. They have a small draft list and large can for beer. Small food menu, but the brushchetta is super good.
