Rotten Johnny's Wood-Fired Pizza Pie, Sedona AZ

Any frozen pizza would be an improvement. TWO of the WORST pizza's ever. While the crust was decent everything else failed. Crumbled hamburger (and not much of it) is their sausage. Just terrible. We tried their Cheese/Sausage.and their White Pizza plain.and expensive. Seriously.

Well bummer.wanted to like this place based on reviews I read but unfortunately that was not in the cards.ordered cocktails, just bad.old fashioned with a full orange wedge and slushy ice.ok maybe a highly advertised espresso martini.nope, half full if whipped cream? !? ! That's a first in my travels.
Ok maybe the food will bridge the gap.and, nope.shrimp were over cooked and coated in what seemed like a heavy chorizo seasoning.and the "magarita " pizza was more of a cheddar cheese pizza with a couple leaves of basil. And oily faux cheese ad that. Ok, let's try a beer.wrong again, served at what seemed around 50 degrees as it was in the mid thirties outside and my glass of beer seemed to warm my hands. Needless to say, I will never be returning. Ever.

I stopped by Royten Johnny's wood fired pizza when I saw the sign that read Pizza pie. I ordered my favorite, pepperoni and a side of wings. The woman that took my order was very pleasant
I looked around the place, small and quaint and it does have a patio to enjoy the outside. I didn't stay inside I went and walked around to the other shops and then came back to get my order.
When I went back to get my order, the woman gave me my bill and it was cheaper if you paid Cash, then credit. She said it was something new. I was thinking maybe a charge for electronic usage.
I paid Cash! I got in my car and looked at my pizza and it looked so delicious I had to have a Slice.and OH, MY! How delicious and cheesy and pepperoni-E it was. They use the big pepperoni with more of the Bold flavor. The wings were good too! I will definitely go there again on my stay in Sedona!

The food and service was extraordinary! For my birthday they offered a free dessert. I tried my luck asking for a t-shirt instead and they happily obliged! Rotten Johhny himself gave me permission, telling me I could have anything I wanted because it was my birthday. Probably one of my best restaurant experiences as a tourist. Stellar!

Friendly and quick service and easy to access location. Our pizza was done in just about 15 minutes. Pizza was pretty tasty but it was sort of bare. We got a mix of two if their special pizzas and they only had one topping which felt a little bare for the price paid for this pizza. Wings were pretty tasty, fresh and were well cooked.

We recently had our wedding rehearsal lunch at Rotten Johnny’s and had an INCREDIBLE experience. We reserved the party room, which turned out to be an amazing event space with a full bar, outside area with live music, and both incredible pasta, wood fired pizza, salads, and desserts. Not only was the food outstanding, but Johnny himself was fully invested, involved, and made sure everything went smoothly for us and our guests (a genuine, down-to-earth guy who just wanted us to have fun)! I have high standards, but he exceeded them in all aspects and we can’t thank him and his establishment for making our wedding weekend special. 5/5, two thumbs up, highest recommendation for rehearsal dinners or any other dining experience! Thanks so much!

First time at Rotten Johnny’s. The pizza was terrific. The crust, the toppings, and the sauce were very delicious. We sat outside on the patio. You could smell the wood cooking our pizza and had a view of a small water fountain. This is definitely a place I will return to.

Inconsistent. You never know what you will get from week to week. Under cooked, burnt, or just right. Bottom of the pizza is a tell usually has debris underneath. The eb and flow of tourists certainly makes it harder to be consistent.

You from afar begging you back (So much LOVE in every pie Everytime) (Standing OVATION), I live in Phoenix so it's a journey.but one well worth The drive. The STAFF HERE are sincere- they are Truly genuine ️. They make everything perfect, they make you feel at home. This restaurant, this pizzeria OF sedona is a TRUE ARIZONA GEM. The "Sauce" "The Sauce. " ' THE SAUCE! " Mind Blowing pure Foodie flavor. Imagine my shock eating the freshest sweet true tiger shrimp in Sedona, incredible experience, incredible live music, adventurous Wine selection that does not lack one once of sophistication, Astute QUALITY WINES.overall ****** 6 STARS. We had the cheesy garlic bread and pepperoni pizza and some margaritas! Everything was delicious and our server was very nice and polite, even while it was a busy lunch rush. Wonderful lunch for a wonderful day!

Best wings I ever had and only reason I gave it a 4star is because I also had the salad with salmon for $16 and the salad was huge but the piece of salmon was the size of an oreo cookie. Loved the outdoor patio dining.

Rotten Johnny's Pizza in Sedona serves a good pizza pie. They have all the fixings on a thin crust pie. The prices are good and the service is fast and efficient. Try out this restaurant next time you're driving into Sedona, you'll like it.

Had a great experience. This is a very casual pizza place. The atmosphere was nice. They had musicians (Bass, guitar and vocalist) singing some good music. The place was clean and the staff very nice. Even when we thought there was a problem with one of our orders it turned out funny and great. We had ordered a pizza and my fiance a salad. They were flexible with adding items to the standard salad including size. The potential problem was they brought out what looked to be the standard salad. My fiance a little disappointed started to eat it. But then.two more bowls of salad, made to order came out too. We were confused at first, including our waiter but at the end we laughed and had a lot to take to go. Bottomline.really liked the atmosphere, the staff and the food was good too. Don't let the name discourage you from trying it.

Really cute atmosphere that may be a better stop for a date night rather than lunch with the kids but definitely worth the stop

Not very good. The pizza was very greasy. The crust was good towards the edge but soggy in the middle. The cheesey garlic bread was tasty but needed to be cooked a little longer. The service was good.
