Nothin out there but them Aggit Rocks, and cows. Interesting. I slept by that tank, by a coral. Slept like a rock! In my truck. The sky was beautiful! That was years ago.

This is a BLM rock hound area. It is one of the best sites we have found for fire agate. It is plentiful and probably will never be depleted. The source is the lava outcroppings. The best specimens are at the hill itself.

If you are willing to walk into the desert a ways you can find nice fire agates here.

It may be WELL off the beaten path, but the rocks are amazing, just be careful on the road out to the rockhound area.cars may not be the best option!
