Celebrated our anniversary - perfect evening. Excellent service, good food and nicely paced. Even got a card and photo.

Really not worth the money. My opinion is overhyped restaurant my shellfish sample had small lobster, 3 medium shrimp and 2 larger scallops for 65 dollars. Still hungry after eating it. Had overpriced wedge salad which wasnt as good as outback. My nephew's fiancee had Mahi Mahi which wad pretty much tasteless. My Nephew had short ribs those were good but not much to eat and not as good as other less expensive restaurants. Unless you just want to brag about eating at some overpriced restaurant find somewhere else. The food we had 2 nights ago at PF Changs way way better with larger portions at a third of the price. A dinner for 3 with tip was 300 dollars!

Planning on spending 3 hours there. Very long wait. The food was great and so was our server but the wait was way to long

Roy’s was all around wonderful! We’ve never been before and after we finished dessert we were extremely grateful to have gone! The food was amazing, the drinks delicious and unique and the service was spot on! Definitely liking forward to going back again!

First time here. Had their Thanksgiving meal. Excellent, excellent lobster bisque! Stuffing and potatoes were good, but very small portions. Lots of turkey, but was rubbery and very salty. Green beans and carrots way undercooked. They forgot the cranberries listed on the menu for all 4 of us. Dessert was just okay, but fresh whipped cream was a nice touch. Beautiful grounds, nice atmosphere. Server very cheerful and let us relax and enjoy ourselves.

Fantastic food but surprisingly loud ambiance. We were also very disappointed that the server tried to add 2 extra glasses of wine to the bill. Since we only ordered a bottle and based on his body language, we’re sure he knew it. You have to watch expensive restaurants. Servers are used to people not checking bill details.

JW Marriott location is still open (Tempe/Chandler closed). Asian fusion with some turf but heavy surf. Appetizer spicy Szechuan spiced pork spare ribs (4.we ate 2 before pic) were fall off bone tender and flavorful. Highly recommend the Classic Four entree for a sampling of most fish entrees on menu including side veggie sampling that goes with each plus furikake rice on side which was perfect to mix with the fish sauces. The salmon and "butterfish" cod were perfectly cooked medium. Macadamia nut crusted fish of this day was sea bass. 4th was the blackened Ahi tuna with ginger side. Finished satisfied but not stuffed. Wife got the beef short rib butterfish combo which came with rice. Holly was a great server - knowledgeable but not pretentious. Valet parking is partially validated in the restaurant. Don't self park unless you want to walk several hundred yards and still have to pay - no exaggeration. Casual dress. Hour options look good. We'll be back.

I had to change reservations for company coming and to make a long story short, it was a disaster. Josie Josie Josie! She was so patient and sweet on the phone when I told her I thought I had canceled the wrong dates and had the correct one booked now but wasn't positive. Not only was that experience exactly as I'd want an employee to behave if I owned Roy's (oh, if only) but not any more than 5 minutes later, Josie called back to tell me she had continued to check and did find one reservation that is now off the book. Give that young lady a raise!

What an amazing dining experience! Everything from the food, to the service was impeccable. The scallops melt in your mouth, and the sushi was out of this world. I highly recommend the ebi roll to start out with, and then the shellfish sampler. The lobster bisque was also superb. My girlfriend had the parmesean and bacon crusted Chilean sea bass, and said it was the best white fish she had ever eaten. Our server Cole gets a special shout out, he took excellent care of us not just once, but both times we dined in. He's the man! Tldr: Eat here, it is worth the cost

Pre-pandemic Roy’s used to be a decent place to grab happy hour and a bite to eat. It has completely went downhill.

For starters, valet is no longer complementary. If you get your ticket validated it’s $8 for parking. There’s no option for free self parking.

When we walked in, every single table that wasn’t seated was dirty. We should’ve gotten the hint they were pretty short staffed and left, we didn’t.

Service was not only slow, but also unaccommodating. We asked the bartender to check on our sushi roll, because the rest of the food had arrived, he just said “yea, they just take a while” So, in other words… NO.

When the roll did make a debut it was a flop. Think sushi bagel - mostly cream cheese and rice. Even when they brought some soy, I still couldn’t bring myself to eat it. Edamame was covered in some sort of chili paste, not great but we ate some. Ribs and shrimp dish were both edible, but nothing special.

Not sure where all of these amazing reviews are from? Our experience was expensive and underwhelming. We wanted to try their other new restaurant Tia Carmen’s, but after this, sad to say we won’t be back.

We were staying at hotel so thought we'd pop in for what looked like a beautiful experience. It is so loud in there during dinner time you cant even hear the person across the table with you. We waited almost two hours for our dinner (w kids) so by the time our food came they were agitated and restless (one asleep). I ordered a well done filet mignon that came raw. I was too tired to send it back and waited too long to wait anymore we just paid our bill and left. Not the place to go if you want a quiet relaxing evening.

My wife and I stopped in for a quick bite after a conference here at the hotel. Roys was very quick to accommodate us and the hostess was very kind when we asked about our casual attire being alright for a quick dine in! Once seated our server was very cool, informative and on point. We had a few cocktails, ordered some sushi, egg rolls and a salad and everything was super fresh and flavorful. We would have loved to order something more entree style if it wasn't for us already having a very late lunch as the menu looked really good! Overall very impressed with our quick dine in for the evening and would definitely go back!
