Ruchi Vegetarian Indian Cuisine, Chandler AZ

We have been coming here for years, and the food is fantastic. Everything else like customer service, cleanliness, options, atmosphere is very good too. The manager is very kind and it is always a joy to come here. The food (pictures attached) was all superb, even as we were eating a couple walked out thanking the manager for the food saying it was very good. We highly recommend coming for food here.

It's official - this is my favourite Indian restaurant outside of Canada! I love that it is all vegetarian, and the food is absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the onion masala dosa. I don't travel through Phoenix often, so I've only had food delivered so far. One day I hope to dine in!

My absolute favorite Indian restaurant ever! The food is always on point & the service is stellar. My kid loves the mango lassi and paneer butter masala. My favorite is the Chana batura and gobi Manchurian. Love having the leftovers the next day - nom nom nom

We had a nice evening over here.the food was good, the staff were friendly, and they had lots of variety of options. The staff suggested the appetizer we had, it was indeed a good one. Only suggestion is that they need to improve on time to give the food.it took a lot of waiting time nearly 15 to 20 minutes and if they were upfront it would have been nice.i would really love to see them improve in timing and get the remaining 1

Amazing delicious food that you will love (even if your a meat eater like me) some of the best comfort food (with a little heat) that you will get anywhere.
The owner and staff are amazingly friendly and are accommodating and always willing offer a suggestion based on your taste profile allergy or dietary restriction. We have gone with small groups large groups s and everything in between and have never been disappointed by the food or the staff.
They also have a newly added juice bar.

Went there with a group of 6. Very good service by Nagaraj, my old friend for past 18+ years. He took care of personally. At the same time taking care of every single customer and constsntly giving importance and directions. His memory is amazing and photogenic. He took an order of 11 items and never wrote anything and repeated them all for confirmation and made sure they were delivered in right sequence appetizers and Ala carte and post dinner coffee with finer details on coffee with extra cups. Amazing food kadai paneer, roti, daal thaduka, channa dhal, dosa. Masal.
Loved the discussions afterwards. It is also my wifes favorite place for her channa batura and taking her friends from out of town place. This is our goto place when friends and family come. Please check it out.

Everything we had was delicious. The chaat, the dosa, the cauliflower…just really, really, good food and the service was wonderful, too. Such nice, friendly people! I can’t recommend it enough! I want to eat here every day!

I am a vegan and my husband is vegetarian. We love Indian food and We found this place which is new to us. We were greeted by Raj who is the owner of the restaurant and he was so friendly. The menu is extensive and anything on the venue can be made vegan! Raj helped us to pick it's 2 outstanding dishes for dinner and we also ordered a side of naan (which is also vegan) and and an appetizer. Everything was delicious! We are looking forward to returning again, trying more new foods, and seeing our new friend Raj again.

The paper masala dosa I got, was not paper masala dosa. Also, the masala inside the dosa or the chutney was not good. My wife ordered Chole batura. Chole curry was made in sambar masala! Batura was just a poori. When I pointed it out, the owner said south Indians won't get sleep unless they complain! Epic. Not going back. The 5 star reviews here seem highly sketchy.

Food was not fresh. Everyone had a stomach-ache the next day.

We were served re-heated dosa & refried bhatura's. I don't like leaving a bad review, but if you don't have fresh food to serve don't accept customers.

My wife and I had lunch there today. Had the mini thali and she had the mini tiffin. Both were very yummy. We started with the samosa and it was one of the best samosa I have had - the filling was very tasty and the pastry was crisp exterior and soft inside. I will definitely be going back.

Nothing can beat their Dosas (rice crepes) and sambhar (sauce). Love it! Ghee Rava Masala Dosa, Mysore Masala Dosa and Coffee are few of my favs, very authentic! We always always order that. Prices are reasonable too and large portions.

This was the first place ever where I had Badam halwa with kulfi (Dessert - Almond pudding/sauce with Ice cream) Yummieeeee! Very exclusive!

First time eating there. The service was great and the food was too.
The server did a great job explaining the menu items to someone like me who isn't familiar with the menu items.
The food was fantastic. My wife and I ordered 2 different dishes and both were yummy.

We just tried Ruchi's for the first time and were very happy with our experience. We had a stuffed crepe that was huge and will be a great lunch tomorrow. The crepe was light and crisp, and the filling was spicy! We had an eggplant curry, which had three small, well cooked eggplants. I would get that again. Loved the vegan mango lassi! Be careful of the dishes with yogurt, as a few are marked as vegan, but contain dairy. Very fair price and great service.

We ordered food for pick-up this evening. Everything was so delicious and fresh, and it was ready quickly. As we are staying in a hotel, they were kind enough to provide cutlery and plates. When we were enjoying our food, we noticed that an item was left out of our order. I called to ask that we get that item refunded, as we didn't want to go out again. Ruchi Vegetarian went above and beyond and brought the missing item to our hotel. Thank you!

Remember that “hole in the wall” place you loved back home? This is your new “hole in the wall” for Indian cuisine. We had not heard of about 40% of the menu items, and Raj took delight in helping us navigate the menu. We chose several items to sample, and they were all above par. The flavors are just amazing! Raj educated us on which sauces and how to properly use them. He gave us a free sample of a dessert made from beets. Even as the place started to get busy, he remained attentive and engaged. We can’t wait to go back to try our next dish. We’re not even vegetarians and we didn’t miss the meat, everything was that tasty.

OK. So if you are into amazing food and excellent service, you should go to Ruchi. Everything I have eaten there has been top notch and everyone has been very friendly. The owner has been doing it for a long time and knows how to please. If you don't know what to get, go for the dhal curry and the tofu curry. You will not be disappointed.

My chef friend wanted a "baller" lunch at a local mom and pop place, so we went to Ruchi. Incedible food and great service. The spinach and eggplant dish was amazing. Vegetable curry awesome. Tastebuds singing.we will return for sure!

The food was fresh and flavorful. I'm not a vegetarian but I would gladly eat at Ruchi again. The price is low considering the amount of food you get. My daughter and I visited Sunday for lunch. The restaurant was busy with a steady flow of customers. There was only one server and one bus boy, so service was a little slow but very friendly and efficient.
