Ruggiero's Ace Hardware-Gilbert reviews
18The employees I've encountered are pretty nice. Jeff was so very helpful and kind, just as clueless as I was but made sure he helped me and told me my options and solved my problem.
John gave me outstanding service with keys today. He even called the neighboring auto dealer to get pin numbers for me. Go Ace!
Fantastic shopping experience. The employees did everything to help me get a smooth transaction. I forgot to ask their names. Just wanted to leave comments here to say thanks to them. Bought a Suncast storage shed earlier today.
I only used the bathroom inside the hardware store, was a pretty good bathroom tho. Would 5/5 recommend peeing there again.
Would like to see the pricing more accurate. Seems like I always have to request a correction based on the label. Other than that, l9ve the store and associates.
The quality of service is excellent! If I have a question on "how to", I can always walk away confident and with the tools/supplies to complete my project. Put dollars back in our community by supporting local small businesses. Thank you!
Staff is very friendly and always helpful in assisting me getting exactly what I need. With new TVs being hung by wall mounts, it is best to go to ACE to find the right screws to mount into TV.
I’m a daily Ace customer. I’ve given this store about 10 visits and I’ve been let down every time. When I first visited I came in to apply for work and Wayne, the store manager didn’t even make the effort to introduce himself. I’ve been hissed at by the owners cat “who had free range to do whatever it wants” according to another employee. Multiple rude people who are probably just having a bad day have rang me up.
Jack is the highlight of this store, very knowledgeable, very good at asking questions, and even better at answering them. The two stars are for jack, zero go to ruggieros ace. I’d rather drive a few miles to another location.
Love this store! So easy to run in and get what you need with having to venture through a giant (Home Depot or Lowes) store! Still by far the largest Ace I've ever seen and the selection won't leave you empty handed!
Great service. I tell them my project and idea, then they find all the parts I need. It's a great relationship. You should try it someday.
Feels like home. Always helpful. Can usually find what I need and some things I didn’t know I needed. And the cat that roams the aisles in search of small critters.
Edit: My apologies to this store. I meant to post to the Gilbert Rd and Chandler Heights Ace which has terrible inventory control.
The Ace hardware on Cooper Rd is Excelent and had everything I was looking for. Even though they are farther away from my house I will go to them from now on!
Michael in the windows screen department was extremely helpful with problem solving my patio door. Very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend using this location for your screening needs. Prices are competitive as well.
I loveAce and this is really the greatest. I love that they have people who know what they are talking about and have all the specialty stuff I can't find at the big box stores. Keep it up!
Always have great service and help here, finding whatever I need. Sure beats going to huge Home Depot or Lowe's, which are miles further away!
I usually shop at Ace Hardware instead of the big boxes, because I like to support local businesses, but this one let me down.
I did an online purchase and didn’t get the item I ordered.
Part of it was my fault for not checking all 4 items, after working a full day at my own job, I expected Ace Hardware to do their job.
When I called, after I got home and unloaded the trunk, their level of concern was “yup, you got the wrong thing, yup, sorry”.
No, we can ship it to you.
No, come in and make another trip and we can take care of you.
Disappointing.
We went from having a great experience with a helpful gentleman who helped us find the plug we needed for our boat, to a bad experience with the cashier (Madison). The plug was the wrong size & I went right back in 3 minutes later & she was absolutely rude about having to do a return.we were in a hurry & she was acting like she didn’t care, so my husband just purchased the new part.
The cherry on top she kept the first part! So we paid for two and left with one.
We loved this store but as long as they have employees who don’t care, we won’t be back.
I didn't receive all of the mounting hardware for a panel that I ordered, so I went here to pick up the missing parts. They were friendly and helpful. I handed the employee what I needed and he got exactly what I needed. Very friendly experience and I will be back in the future when I need any hardware.
