Rustler’s Rooste reviews
16Wait staff was nice. Cocktails were good. Food had NO flavor. No seasonings. When we spoke to the manager about it he shared that they serve over 400 meals and no one else complained! I do not think that is the appropriate answer when I am talking to your about the food I was served. A simple I am sorry and listening to us would have been the right answer but for a $405 bill, the food should have some flavor and the manager should have more class
Wow the view! This was an amazing place where we held our corporate event.will definitely be looking to book further events at this location.take your team here, it will help to build.
Great view, cool location and atmosphere. The food was pretty disappointing though, especially at the price. The Big Burger was big, but not tasty. It tasted like meat juice and the onions looked unappetizing. I didn't even finish half. Cool to walk through a spooky cave past a live bull though.
This place is definitely worth trying at least once. The ambience is special with live music, free cotton candy, a little gift shop, an indoor slide for kids, and lots and lots of seating inside and out. Amazing views of Tempe and Phoenix. Super friendly waitstaff and fairly quick service. Really unique!
The food was not the best, in my opinion. We got basically a sampler of chicken, ribs, sausage, and brisket and it was not warm when delivered to the table. In fact it was barely room temperature which, along with the dryness of the meat, made me suspect this was cooked way in advance and then poorly reheated. Also, the food was pretty bland/unseasoned. It was insanely busy that night though, so you might have a better experience on a night they aren't serving a bunch of tables with parties of 10+.
Nice Thanksgiving offerings for large groups, fast, and thoughtful staff. Food good, and take home boxes available.
Went for Thanksgiving special feast with family.not good.the best part was the scenery.
Food was small potions. Not hot.not fully cooked. Red inside turkey.not fully cooked.
Sparce staff.very expensive.eliminated lots of sides.limited.very disappointed.will not return.
The food was mediocre at best! Steak was cold so was my potato. Well the waitress embarrassed us with counting the money loud and in front of everyone! Like we were some kind of thief's trying to eat free. Feel bad for the 45 dollar tip we left her
Fun venue but as per many reviews, the food is hit or miss. Hamburger was fine, but pork ribs were so tough you could barely cut them with a serrated steak knife, and difficult to chew. Should have sent them back. Fries looked great but were dry so didn't eat many. Beans were good. Jalapeño Mac and cheese was solid. Grilled asparagus ok. Fun music and venue, friendly service. Too bad the food disappoints.
The view of the city and the cocktails were good, the waitress was very nice and on top of everything. But the meals our large group had was not great. The meat had no seasoning or flavor. Fish was dry. Some pieces of side of squash/carrot was hard due to being undercooked. The men's bathroom was dirty. Not what I'd expect when spending hundreds of dollars on dinner. Worst part is when we mentioned this to the manager he said they've served hundreds of steaks that day with no complaints. Essentially dismissing or feedback. We were not looking to have anything taken off the bill as it wasn't uneditable but not what I'd expect from a very expensive steak house. We are unlikely to return and try it again due to that alone.
My son absolutely loves this place. He loves the slide. We all like the rattle snake and cactus fries. The prime rib is always delicious as well.
Wonderful experience. We did the Thanksgiving feast and even though they were very busy, the staff was on top of things and seemed energized instead of overwhelmed. Of course a gorgeous back drop to a great dinner. The last time I came here I was a kid so I was worried it wouldn't be like I remembered, but it was still great!
This is our favorite place to take folks who visit us from out of town. The view is incomparable and the food is always great. It's a great atmosphere, fun for kids and adults.
The Thanksgiving meal was delicious, the ham was especially good. The yams were okay, they could have had more candied sauce and been a bit softer. The pumpkin pie was soft and creamy and very good.
Food was bad, had to send back. Ok after that. Asked for check split and they handed us a calculator. Don't recommend
The service was friendly and timely. Laid back atmosphere. Views out across the city were outstanding! Food was very good, especially the prickly pear!
We went there for this last Thanksgiving. The place had an unpleasant smell. The carpet was sticky, giving you the impression of a grimmy place. We asked for prime rib. I could not finish one bite out of it. It was cold and it tasted like rotten meat. I have tried to come up with a positive, but my experience with this place, including the service, was awful.
