There's a difficult hike to the summit. Or you can explore the petroglyph site or rock hound for fire agate. It's BLM land so camping is free!

Flies and the stench of dead cows (not a recent problem) Otherwise, great

Chalcedony all over the place! Many camp sites reachable with our trailer which has low ground clearance.

Petroglyphs quite difficult to find. In fact, I found only two. See the pictures.
I did not find any special quartz rocks there. Beautiful landscapes. Calm.

Remarkable. Unfortunately more rocks are falling and breaking the Petroglyphs slowly. I absolutely love view here.

They are up in there. Easy enough to find. Rode my bike most of the way then walked. It's definitely high clearance roads; a couple of gullies. But I like glyphs so they are always worth the effort to find and appreciate. There are some markings up there that I'm pretty sure are not from ancient people.
