SaddleBrooke Ranch reviews
10Soooooo much better than the robson in Eloy. Better gates, community, facility, and restaurant.
We spent Thanksgiving week there, great community to live. I loved how everybody's homes were professionally landscaped with so many cactus and warm weather plants. It was fun just to walk around and see all the different plants that I have never seen before in my life.
All the people we met were not only friendly but helpful. Staff at all the restaurants were amazing as well. Unit we were in was well appointed, clean, more than enough room to spread out. This stay encouraged us to buy property in the community.
This is the second Robson community that we have visited. The other is Quail Creek.
Both are well maintained. This one is a little more complete as far as the amenities go. QC is still building theirs even though the have completed more of their units.
QC is closer to their shopping areas with Walmart, familiar convenience restaurants and small box retailers only 5 to 10 minutes away.
SR is about 15+ miles from their shopping areas (not counting the one-off stores on the way) but their shopping areas also feature big box retailers such as Kohl's, Target and Home Depot just to a few.
SR is about 1000' higher elevation so I've read that their temperatures are a bit milder.
The prices at SR are a bit higher than QC.
Been living here for the past three years. In that time, the community has grown significantly. The facilities that most of the people use now are becoming overwhelmed. The restaurant isn't open every day and it usually closes at 8pm when it is open, except for the day it closes at 3pm, I believe on Tuesdays.
The Ranch House bar and grill usually has excellent food, but the menu is extremely small. There is a $300 mandatory purchase from the restaurant (excluding alcohol) every six months. Most people find a favorite item and stick with it, and hope that it doesn't get deleted when they change the menu about every quarter.
Everyone hears that there are upgrades and additions to the amenities, but no one in management knows when. The need for a second restaurant (or just open the one we have 7 days a week and for more hours) is needed, but there are no plans for that.
Great place to live, but you have to lower your expectations. Each Robson property is run different, so if you like one, the others are drastically different. Don't think that because quail Creek has something great, that SBR will have it too.
The management at SBR does not like to communicate with the residents and hides behind "ranch reminders" and meetings with submitted questions.
Overall, it's a nice place, but if you have high expectations for the HOA dues you pay, you will be disappointed.
Do your research and talk to current residents. The sales people won't tell you everything.
This is a new Robson Community North of Tucson. Very nice community and nice homes, many to choose from.
Love it! Ready to look for a furnished rental until we can either build, or preferably buy 2-3 yr old home.
The Villa HOA needs to be more responsive to the requirements they put in place. Dead plants for over a year! No bueno! Lock and leave? We paid for it! No follow up on issues. I try to be super nice, but not satisfied with results. Disappointed
The food at the restaurants needs significant improvement, in general it is over-priced, mediocre and inconsistent at best. The beer is however excellent.
The HOA management does it's best to hide from the residents and acts like it is afraid of the residents input. Robson needs more competent managers at this development, people who actually listen to the residents.
Nice place but pretty far out there. Ballroom signage could be better. Nice layout with wide streets and well maintained.
