Safeway Pharmacy reviews
6Always a pleasant experience! They are quick, thorough and friendly and absolutely appreciate all of them at the Rancho Vistoso location. Professional team there
I am 70 years old. My wife and I went in for a Shingrix vaccination and we both have Medicare and supplemental insurance. I made an online appointment and filled out the required health forms online to get the appt. We get to the pharmacy for our appt.and the girl tells us the forms are only good the day you get the shot so we filled them out for nothing. Why even have a required online form when you make an appt if it's not good when you get there? Secondly the girl told us the copay would be over $300 for the shots for the two of us. I knew that was wrong but the girl argued with me that it was right. She said my insurance rejected it which I knew was wrong. To make a long story short she came back later and said there would be zero cost. Had I not argued with her I would have paid over $300 for nothing. The techs are apparently not trained on running multiple insurances so be careful how much you are charged. There was a young girl substitute pharmacist there that day and I told her about the incident. Her cavalier response was oh well it's all ok now isn't it? I wonder how many people are being overcharged here and don't even know it because the people running your insurance are totally incompetent?
Great service and very personable pharmacist.very friendly and knowledgeable of their customers needs. I'll never go anywhere else.
I have been using this Pharmacy for years. Ive been unhappy for at least the last year. Several of the women are extremely rude. Medications are often missing. "Oh sorry, we forgot to put that one in there. " The quality of custimer service has terribly gone downhill.
Walmart staff is much kinder and theyre more organized.
I've loved this pharmacy. I had to get several prescriptions with insurance over-rides when I went out of the country for a long period. They handled almost everything I needed and informed with me updates and notified me in a timely manner if there was a problem. After living here for almost 3 years the main pharmacist knows both me and my husband's names and many other customer's names. Sometimes Ihave to wait a day or so to get a rx, but it is a fairly small pharmacy. Occassionally, I can see they are super busy and I may have to wait. They get new employees in sometimes and if they aren't customer sevice oriented they don't seem to last long. My grandpa and grandma owned a community pharmacy in a small town from the 30s through the 70s. This isn't exactly the same, but then again I couldn't buy groceries at grandma and grandpa's.
