Saigon Flavor reviews
5I was so disappointed in my order. I ordered the identical meal that I had a few months ago (orange chicken, shrimp fried rice, veg egg foo young). This time around it was borderline disgusting. The shrimp fried rice was overcooked, and the orange chicken was extremely dry. I'm not sure how this was even possible. There must have been a change in the cook because even the veggie egg rolls were just dough, no veggies in the middle. The egg foo young was a hard deep fried "hot mess". Never going back. EVER!
Got the Thai tea, sooo good! And the curry soup has the best broth ever! Definitely a new favorite and big recommendation
Went for lunch today for the first time. I had the spring rolls and the vermicelli bowl with curry chicken and I asked them to add tofu as well. Everything was delicious. I only wish that they added a little more chicken.
After about 5 minutes of eating, my friend found a green and brown WORM in her beef and broccoli. Went to return the food, and they immediately gave us a refund, stating how they got their broccoli from a new vendor and that they spotted some of the worms on the vegetable. They told me that they rinsed and washed the broccoli well enough to where they thought they got all the worms out, but I guess they missed one. Doesn't help the fact that the company knowingly saw bugs on their produce and still decided to serve it to their customers anyways.
My coworker looked at her company card (which the meal was paid on) and saw that while the company indeed did refund the meal itself, they decided to keep the tip for themselves. One way or another, they found a way to make sure we still paid them for finding worms in our food. Absolutely disgusting food. Disgusting business practices. I will be filing a report with the green valley health inspector and the better business burrow over this incident.
Go to panda house a few shops down. They're prices are better, you get more food for your buck, and I've yet to find any bugs in my broccoli!
Had shrimp spring rolls, spicy calamari and shrimp pho. WAY too much cilantro in spring roll. Couldn't even taste the shrimp. WAY too much basil in the Pho. Totally overtook the dish all I could taste. The calamari was great. I will have to try something else on the menu next time.
