Salsa Brava reviews
17OMG Whatever you do take a beautiful drive and go have lunch at this charming restaurant. Great service excellent food very large portions even my husband couldn't finish his! Fabulous well worth the drive and you can't beat the scenery!
Great stop as I was driving through on I-40. Food was outstanding and the 3 salsas you get with the chips are great. Can't go wrong with this place.
If you want to be ignored when you’re seated and not have anyone approach you for over 5 minutes while there are 5 servers walking around in a cluster together then this is the place for you!
It might be a Triple D, but it certainly isn’t worth your time. We walked out because no one offered drinks or even acknowledged us and they all told us to have a good day. Ridiculous.
I love Salsa B!
Been going there for more then 20 years back when it was in the Greentree plaza by NAU.
The food is great and the salsa incredible
The food was amazing and our server Fran was awesome! So funny, hospitable, and welcoming! Will definitely be coming back because of her!
Good service, but the food doesn't have any twist, any design and poor on taste, it's very basic commercial spot. For good Mexican food look elswhere else.
Our experience tonight was excellent and our server Fran did an outstanding job waiting on us. We had the Navajo Taco and the Stuffed Sopapilla and our visit was well worth it!
I'm not super adventurous when it comes to food, but the street tacos were such a good deal that I felt comfortable trying them. I don't regret trying them at all. The pork was so flavorful, moist, and tender. I can't wait to go back and try more items from their menu!
Update: Went back for more tacos and the stuffed sopapilla. So tasty! We had the greatest server. She listened to us, and she made sure that all of our needs were met. Better yet, she made us laugh. I wish we could have stayed longer!
Best Navajo tacos! The flan was amazing but too! We went there because of ddd food network show! I don’t regret it! If you are close by stop by!
We have had good service in the past and I like their salsa so I ordered some online to pickup. That's all. Just curious and salsa. When I got there, a HALF HOUR LATER, it wasn't ready. I had to wait outside in the snow and wind for them to put it together because I entered without a mask, but as soon as you go in to eat, you are allowed to remove it? !? ! The patio ks in line behind me left too.
Don't get me wrong, this meal was really good. I do want to start however with some areas that could be improved. First, the chips were average and the tea was not great. Aside from that, I was very impressed. The chicken used in the chimichanga was amazing! The salsas were all fresh and tasty. The red enchiladas tasted like my moms. So good! Stuffed sopapilla had too much beans, but was delicious anyway.
Great meal!
Basically the worst online ordering experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. They clearly forgot about our order entirely and we waited over an hour standing in the lobby where they couldn’t even give us a time estimate and never actually checked the order. This defeated the purpose of us taking it to-go to avoid dining in during covid. The staff were friendly, however not worth the wait.
1st time there with the family. It was great auténtico Mexican food.
Brandon was our waiter, thank you for a great customer service
Our server Fran was such a delight throughout the whole experience! Attentive at all the right times, punctual on drink refills, AND best of all she was SO NICE! I could see the smile under her mask. She made our experience here so much fun and she pointed out so many yummy new options for me to try next time! The chimichanga was 10/10 as was the service! Definitely recommend!
Thank you again Fran! Love you!

This local loves Salsa Brava. Prices are reasonable for all you get. Love the stuffed sopapilla and Navajo taco (long before Guy did). They do amazing things with pineapple including a great salsa. I've never had anything bad here. If I moved away, I would miss this place.
FRAN. She is the best waitress I’ve ever had. Impeccable service and good food. But Fran was the highlight of this place. She’s a QUEEN and anyone who is sat in her section is so lucky. If I ever come back to flagstaff I will be going there again. Really good margaritas also, for 3.50! Overall amazing experience
It took awhile for them to figure out how to make A Gluten Free Enchilada. Most of there recipes are wheat flour based. But they did do it. Using the corn tortillas and vegetable based salsa. (Not a rue).
So I am giving them credit for not poisoning me and making me sick. Luann
We will be back.
