Salt River Fields at Talking Stick reviews
17Ben sat with me (Vince) and talked, I got here early for my daughters graduation for Arcadia, very polite gentlemen.first class all the way.all the Arcadia flyers went everywhere and Ben and I picked them up.
Went to 2 games. Was harassed by security both days, for either standing in one place for too long, or my lady carrying her purse. This place is over-the-top with unnecessary security procedures.that are not the normal. If you go - prepare to be told how to act, and what to do by power-hungry narcissist who take no responsibility for their actions - just mindless drones "Doing my job" or "Doing what I'm told"
Fantastic facility. Super clean. Easy parking. Attended during Covid times so we couldn't watch early BP and the crowd was lite (it was a Thursday too). No backpacks allowed. Team stores were closed too. But, like most spring training facilities, player access is great and not a bad seat in the house.
Great time, I have missed going to spring training games. The reduced capacity was nice, parking was a breeze and not being crowded at the seats. Even leaving the game was easy, no long lines. We couldn't wear gaiters for face coverings, had to have a face mask which makes no sense, just dumb, but whatever.
Ridiculous enforcement of protocols for Covid. The staff wouldn't even allow my grandma, in a wheelchair, to sit near us. I couldn't even stand next to her while we cheered on a family member pitching, I got yelled at. Disappointing.
Beautiful stadium with plenty of space between groups of seats due to COVID. Only complaint is that the alcoholic drinks were way over priced.
Absolutely a waste of time trying to enjoy a baseball game. No social distancing, no mask wearing. A great place to catch Covid. Avoid coming to this stadium. The staff didn't care about mask or social distancing. I would've expected much more during these times. A wasted trip down here from washington.
So happy that we're able to attend sporting events again. Most venues are limiting the amount of fans and setting up "pods" of either two or four fans. Salt Rover Fields is doing this and they also have their lawn seating open, although I'm not sure how they're handling capacity there. I sat a few rows up behind home plate and didn't have many other fans around me. I really enjoyed the outing but would of had a better time if they didn't have their retiree attendants treating fans like their grandchildren reminding them to put their masks over their faces. It's understandable to require one but if there's no one around you within 6+ feet and you're outside, it's a little ridiculous and annoying to be constantly reminded.
Went to the ballpark, and felt like I was in prison. We were socially distances but yet if you left your mask off for to long after you to a drink some usher was there to tell you to pull it up.
Came out of the bathroom took a drink and a usher was there in 2 seconds to tell me I couldn't drink on that level. I was walking back to my seat and took a drink. Come on man! If you want to feel what prison is like go to this ballpark.
Terrible mask nazis
Followed people around
Felt constantly harassed
Even when eating big brother was watching
Over trained staff
Covid-19 protocols are strictly adhered to. Make sure to keep your mask on when not eating and drinking. The players were great, and we're happy to see fans again.
Ideal for the covet experience and they definitely spaced out both the regular sheets as well as the lawn seats and very limited and drinking options
Good COVID protocols for the game. This field is so clean and all of the staff was very friendly.
Came here for the Christmas lights.
I liked how u can drive around the place.
They also had carriage rides if you like.
Also they had Santa Claus there too.
Salt river christmas lights. The radio station tower that was supposed to play along with the lights were down. We were told to just listen to our favorite station. Bummer number two, ALOT of the lights weren't working. Nothing spectacular. My kids ages 8,6 and 4 weren't impressed. They kept talking about the one in tempe last year. Save your 35+ dollars and just drive around.
