This was my favorite dining experience while in Sedona. I cannot say enough good things about it. We dined outside in the evening. It was chilly out but we were seated right next to a heater and near a large fire on the patio. Our server was perfect, he verbally featured the chefs selections for each course, so well that we didn't even open the menu and ordered all of them. I asked for a sweet margarita and he suggested the Sun Devil Margarita with no spice and a sugared rim. It was a perfect balance of sweet and sour with a smooth finish from the premium tequila. We had a Tuna Tartar appetizer with fresh avocado, chili oil, aioli and crisped onions. Our next course was the Potato and Leek Soup. This was surprisingly my favorite part of the meal. The soup was a uniform consistency, I was expecting a traditional chunky style soup, but it was perfect the way it was served. There were so many layers to the flavor. The chili oil drizzle on top added a wonderful kick right at the end.
For our entrees we ordered the Braised Short Rib and the Striped Bass. The Bass was served skin on with a crisp sear, over chili risotto with fresh asparagus and pomegranate.
The short rib was so tender it fell apart with a fork. It had a savory braise with a few pomegranate to give it a sweet and savory balance. The whipped potatoes complemented it perfectly and gave you that wonderful comfort food feeling. The carrots were sweet and soft.
For dessert we ordered the tres leches cake with homemade strawberry and mango reductions and whip cream.
This meal was perfectly balanced, every item, from start to finish. I don't think most of these items are on their regular menu. Be adventurous and order all the chefs selections for the evening. You will not be disappointed.

Great food and wonderful customer service. We sat outside and the views were breath taking. Prices were very affordable

We were told 15 minutes but we waited for one hour past our reservation time. Finally walked out. Waste of time

Kind staff. I had the nachos for brunch and it was the best nachos i've ever had. When anyone asks me how my trip to Sedona went, I will definitely mention these nachos at some point during the conversation. 5/5

The food was excellent, the service polite and attentive, and the valet was quick to both take and retrieve our car.

Beautiful, unobstructed views from the porch. The margaritas are incredible, as are the tortas! The pork torta is wonderful but super spicy. The passionfruit cake is super light and a perfect way to end the meal!

Food was good. Service was very good. Prices were not cheap, but not too bad. Didn't actually love the margarita's, oddly.

We were there on a Saturday with a party of six. They were understaffed so the service was poor.

My first time visiting this restaurant. The location was quiet, with a great view. Free valet parking. I ordered a dessert and my friend ordered the egg salad burger. I wasn't crazy about the trés lechés cake.

The outdoor seating is amazing. The indoor seating appeared clean, as were the restrooms.

I would return for the ambience and to try a different dish.

Absolutely love love love this place! Great views on the outside patio dinning room. Fire pit and heated lamps to keep you nice and warm while dinning out in the evening. And the food. OMG! So delicious. We have been many times and will go back more and more. All of the staff work together to make sure you want for nothing. It's a definite must go. Don't miss out on this wonderful restaurant while vacationing.

My friend had a very nice butternut squash with exotic mushrooms entree. I had a $10 salad - way overpriced - and a tomato vegetable soup that tasted fresh out of the can. Saltrock made good on the soup, to their credit. Who is the chef here?

Wasn't overwhelmed and expected more. Felt like a hotel lobby and patio. Maybe we where there too late and missed the views? 7 dinner.

Overpriced for what it is, service is sloppy. At $30+ per entree one would expect something reasonably good. Saltrock did not rise to the occasion.

Highly recommended! The view alone makes a dinner on the patio well worth the price tag! Menu items are very unique and taste exceptionally good!

Gotta get the deviled eggs. I've been a fan since I was a boy, and these guys do em right! Made with a maple bacon glaze hidden within them.oh lawdy.

Best part is they were willing to reserve a patio table closest to the lawn for my girlfriend's birthday! Even brought out a complimentary dessert AND a birthday card signed by everyone on staff! Going the extra mile

Ambiance is great. You have a fantastic view of the mountains in front of you. We ate at 5pm with our 1 year old daughter and the staff was very accommodating and helpful. I had the Pork Shank and my wife had the scallops. The Shank was quite tender and the accompanying beans were nicely seasoned but for the price point I would have expected it to be a bit more moist. I tasted my wife's scallops and accompanying risotto. The scallops came with a lemon cream sauce and were very enjoyable. Unfortunately the scallops were a bit underdone and the risotto lacked the richness I would expect from it. All in all we had a very enjoyable experience at Saltrock and would recommend it but given the price point there were a couple of issues with the food that dropped it from a 5 to a 4 in my opinion.

Stopped by here for dinner after a long trip in the car. Got the pick three grilled corn, chicken with risotto and tres leches cake.

Grilled corn was great I only wish it had some spice to it.
Chicken was cooked perfectly but the risotto was little watery
Tres leches cake was moist and tasty. I was expecting a little more flavor but I would definitely get it again.

Other members of the party ordered the deviled eggs, shrimp and grits appetizer, and the guac.
All were good only wish there was more to go around. But the deviled egg was good especially with the stone ground mustard and bacon jam.

Wife and I walked in today after I had a craving for Huevos Rancheros. We ordered those and and the breakfast burrito - both items were excellent. You’re able to order eggs for the Huevos dish any way you please rather than just sunny side up. This is a plus because some places won’t let you do it. My wife said her burrito was the best she’s had in a long time.

We were able to sit on the patio, and 70F/21C weather with blue skies was an excellent way to eat breakfast.

The server was a little slow but had a great personality. She gave us a little information about the area and was also excellent overall. To be fair, this is a nicer restaurant in a slower area, whereas I live in the ongoing hustle and bustle of a city. This “slowness” may be normal for this part of the country whereas I’m not accustomed to it.

Definitely recommend for breakfast.

Very swanky kinda vibe. Open floor with large patio seating that has plenty of fireplaces and heaters even on a chilly night. Sat at the bar with waiting for a table and the bartenders are TRUE bartenders. Arti, the head bartender, was making sure to taste majority of his drinks ensuring it was a good product. Definitely must try the mojito with strawberries & blackberry as well as the old fashion uaing the buffalo tres. Headed out to the patio for dinner and ordered the Salmon and the Ribeye. Salmon was incredible with different flavors that just had my tastebuds asking for more. The Ribeye also had amazing garlic flavoring but we asked for medium rare and got well done. Still would come back and recommend to stop by.
